Novak Djokovic Responds To Kid's Proposal By Pulling Him Onto Court!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueTennis

This is so AH-mazing!

Tennis player Novak Djokovic was hitting a few practice serves at the U.S. Open when a young fan suddenly yelled out to him, "Will you marry me?"

We think this little kid was just trying to be funny and make the crowd laugh, but then Novak actually pulled him out of the stands!

Oh no! Did he start beating him with his tennis racket??

Of course not! Shame on you for even thinking that! LOLz!

Being the incredible guy that he is, he actually pulled the kid onto the court and let him take a few practice serves of his own! Free tennis lesson from one of the greatest tennis players in history??

Best day ever!

Wow, it's been a while since we've heard that name!

Goran Ivanisevic and his family were spotted out and about in West Hollywood.

They were hanging out at The Grove, doing some shopping on a warm El Lay day.

How've ya been, Goran??

If U don't remember him, Goran Ivanisevic was a Croatian professional tennis player who entered into Wimbledon as a wildcard in 2001.

He ended up winning the men's singles title, becoming the first wildcard to do so.

He's also known for having an incredibly strong serve, some say still the strongest ever!

But look at how he's not crushing those shopping bags.

He's like a tiger, powerful yet majestic.

Also a family man.

All of which is great.

You know, even if Chelsea brings it up by basically calling her a bitch and then saying she likes it.

The tennis diva stopped by the show for an interview and brought along some

Our newest FitPerez correspondent and top Australian pro tennis player, Anastasia Rodionovaz, is here to answer any and all tennis training-related questions!

The world-class female player and current Australian No. 1 in doubles also has the help of her trusted personal trainer, Jason Stacy, to give you the BEST advice possible!

This week, a FitPerez reader is curious if fitness footwear matters for effective workouts, asking:

Do you wear actual running shoes for your cardio, running and etc. or stick to tennis shoes? Does it even matter?

According to Anastasia & her fitness trainer Jason:

I do wear running shoes for "cardio". For workouts I have running shoes and/or my vibram five fingers. As far as if it matters, I'd say it's best to find a shoe that feels comfortable for you…for workouts I'd prefer a minimalist shoe (flat and low).

With all the conflicting opinions on what type of shoe is best, I'd recommend finding one that feels right. Ensure its not too narrow and If its comfortable and not causing you pain/dysfunction-go for it!!!!

Do U have a question for Anastasia? Write us at Tips@FitPerez.com or go directly to the source! Tweet her @Arodionova or Jason @tomaranu_kokoro and make sure to check out her website!
