We can't even put into words how frightening he looks to us. Seriously, he's eyes are so vacant …

What the hell even goes through the mind of a man who so cruelly and diabolically kills so many innocent lives.

The police have released James Holmes' mug shot and it is every bit as terrifying as you thought it would be.

His hair, as you can plainly see, is reminiscent of the familiar Batman villain, The Joker … but it's his expression that truly inflicts fear.

We really can barely stand to look. All those poor people taken too soon. This is the face of the person who stole their precious lives from them.

It just makes us so sick…

Patricia Legarreta and Jamie Rohrs were two of the people who went to the midnight showing of Dark Knight Rises, where gunman James Holmes open fired.

They brought their 4-month-old son and 4-year-old daughter to the showing and had originally planned on sitting in the front of the theater. In a last minute decision, they opted for seats in the back of theater and ALL survived the shooting.

The couple and their children are extremely fortunate to have survived the senseless mass shooting…we cannot even BEGIN to imagine how utterly terrifying that must've been.

Horrible to think what was simply meant to be a trip to the movies resulted in such a horrific, devastating tragedy.

It's absolutely terrifying that this legislation was even being CONSIDERED, but thankfully, the people of Ukraine and other European countries have stood up to defeat it.

The Ukrainian parliament was scheduled to vote on a new law on Friday which would make it illegal to "spread homosexuality" by "holding meetings, parades, actions, demonstrations and mass events aiming at intentional distribution of any positive information about homosexuality." Ukrainian citizens who broke the proposed law would be facing up to five years in prison for freely expressing any positive opinion about homosexuality through ANY medium.

Scary, right?

Although this exposed the frightening homophobia that is still felt around the globe, it gives us hope to hear that other foreign governments actively denounced the law, while thousands of people signed a petition against it.

On top of Ireland, Argentina, and the European Parliament speaking out against the oppressive law, AllOut.org delivered 120,000 signatures to Ukrainian authorities at the European Union and Council of Europe. Andre Banks, co-founder of the human rights organization, commented on the results of everyone's hard work by saying:

Several animal rights groups have written the London 2012 organizers to try and persuade the director of the opening ceremony, Danny Boyle, to not use live animals.

The opening ceremony planned to use 100 farm animals in the show, but animal groups warn them they may face severe consequences.

Under the 2006 Animal Welfare Act, it is illegal to intentionally cause undue fear and distress to animals.

There are six groups in total agreement that the experience of being in the show would be "highly stressful and probably terrifying experience for them."

The groups are Animal Aid, Animal Defenders International, Captive Animals Protection Society, Compassion in World Farming, Peta and Viva.

They want Boyle to use puppets and animatronics.

The lead organizers of the Olympics said that they will be working closely with the Royal Society for the Protection of Animals to make sure the animals are "better looked after than the volunteers."

We bet it's too late at this point to just scrap the whole animal part.

Let's hope the show really conforms to all the animal laws or else Danny Boyle might have a whole lotta angry people to deal with.

Ethan Hawke stars as a true crime novelist who moves into a new home with his family to write his masterpiece and, then, discovers the terrifying history of his residence. What starts out as a possible serial murder case develops into something much more…do we have to say it? Ha!

Holy homicide Batman!

We knew Christian Bale was a difficult actor, but we didn't know he was totally insane!!

In a new book Bale's ex-publisit, Harrison Cheung, claims working for the Dark Knight was terrifying. Like, so terrifying Cheung now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.

So, what did Bale do that was THAT bad?
