A health care worker at Dallas' Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital has tested positive for Ebola, after caring for Thomas Eric Duncan, who was the first person diagnosed with the disease in the U.S.
This is the first known case of Ebola that has been transmitted or contracted in the country, if the preliminary reports are confirmed.
The health care worker's family "requested total privacy," so there are few other details other than that the person reported a fever Friday night, and that they're still waiting on secondary results from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
