LGBT YouTuber Accused Of Faking Hate Crime SKIPS Court Date To Go On Vacation…

no title

This isn't exactly a good look for someone who is adamant that they're innocent…

On Tuesday, Calum McSwiggan was supposed to appear in El Lay court after being charged with filing a fake police report last month.

In case you don't remember, the YouTube star claimed he was jumped by three strangers outside The Abbey in West Hollywood during Pride weekend.

However, one of his alleged attackers took to social media to denounce the claims, arguing that the openly gay internet personality had actually beaten himself up.

Not to mention, the authorities revealed that one of the online celeb's injuries was sustained when he began to harm himself in a holding cell, where he had been taken for vandalizing a car that same night.

But when the 26-year-old's court date arrived, he didn't show because he had actually left the country!

Based on his social media posts, Calum wasn't sitting in Los Angeles court on Tuesday. Instead, he skipped his hearing to spend time in Spain with his family.

He posted this pic with his precious puppy (above) earlier in the week, writing:

Police Reveal They Have Video Of LGBT YouTube Star Calum McSwiggan Hurting Himself As He Claims Backlash Over Alleged Attack Is Ruining His Reputation!

The drama continues...

Calum McSwiggan is adamant that he's not faking his alleged attack.

Over the weekend, the YouTuber claims he was jumped by three strangers outside of West Hollywood's gay club, The Abbey, in an apparent hate crime.

And while police say they didn't see any injuries or evidence of an assault while responding to his call, the 26-year-old insists the attack actually happened.

In a newly-released interview with The Advocate, the online personality stressed that the cops should have taken his word for it, saying:

"I think if somebody is a victim of a crime, that person should be given the benefit of the doubt and believed. Just because there are no physical markings on my face other than the broken teeth, that doesn't mean I wasn't assaulted, and that is why the police think I wasn't assaulted."

The UK native went on to say that the way the cops slapped him with charges for vandalism and filing a false police report isn't fair, considering he says he's the victim in this incident:

"I went to the police and now apparently I'm a criminal."

However, the police have revealed that they have video

According to the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, there were no injuries or evidence of an attack. Furthermore, they claim McSwiggan pulled a mirror off one car and used it to scratch the paint on a different car. When he was at the station to face charges of property damage, the UK native tried to hurt himself in the holding cell and was then taken to the hospital.

Well now, one of the three men who was with Calum in Weho is invalidating his story!

On Facebook, Damien Nichols claims he was with the vlogger during the time of the supposed crime. Nichols — who says he is gay — confirms the police's account about McSwiggan drunkenly damaging his friend's car.

YouTuber Calum McSwiggan Insists He Was Assaulted While A Witness Says He Was 'Acting Crazy' — And Now He's Facing ANOTHER Charge!

This is so complicated.

This scary story just keeps getting more and more complicated.

As we previously reported, YouTube star Calum McSwiggan claimed he was attacked outside West Hollywood's gay club The Abbey over the weekend, after celebrating a fun weekend at VidCon.

While the LGBT lifestyle vlogger alleges he was jumped by three strangers after leaving the El Lay hotspot, police investigating the incident say the Brit showed no signs of injury or evidence of any attack.

In fact, they arrested him for vandalizing a car after the altercation, but he was transferred to a hospital after he began to hurt himself in the holding cell.

And now, in addition to the vandalism charge, the internet celeb is also being charged with filing a false police report.

According to WEHOville, the online personality was faced with the new charge on Wednesday at LAX Courthouse.

However, the UK native took to Facebook that same day to insist that he's telling the truth about the night's events, describing the alleged attack:

the abbey weho denying entry for homophobic politicians

File this one under "fighting fire with fire!"

As homophobic and otherwise prejudicial lawmakers in certain areas of the country push to pass legislation effectively condoning commercial discrimination, some folks are pushing back the only way they know how!!!

Leading the pack is The Abbey in WeHo! Considered by many to be the most popular gay bar in the world, they've announced a new policy aimed at keeping out all those who keep hate in their heart!

And that includes legislators trying to push through an intolerant agenda!

So they've compiled the names and photos of all of them and dispersed them to the bouncers to ensure they never gain admittance!

David Cooley, the bar & restaurant's founder, released this statement:
