From Barack To Bourne! George Clooney Thinks Matt Damon Should Be President

matt damon for president

Better watch out, President Obama! We have a feeling that George Clooney would be one helluva campaign manager!

Back in February, George Clooney made it clear that he wouldn't ever go into politics because he "f—ed too many chicks and did too many drugs."

While we may never see George in the White House, the Ideas of March director thinks that his Ocean's Eleven co-star Matt Damon would be a good pick for the job!

Here's what he had to say about it:

Battle: Los Angeles Wins The Box Office Battle

Moviegoers were desperate for some sci-fi action this weekend.

Battle: Los Angeles topped the box office with $36 million, which is a strong opening for the Warner Bros. film.

Last week's #1 movie Rango moved down to the number two spot and made an additional $23.1 million, earning a total of $68.7 million for two weekends.

Amanda Seyfried's Red Riding Hood didn't do well, coming in number three with $14.1 million - well behind the film's expectations.

Guess Twi-Hards didn't come out to support Twilight director Catherine Hardwick.

Whomp whomp!

The Adjustment Bureau moved down to fourth place with $11.5 million, making the cumulative total to $38.5 million.

The biggest disappointment of the weekend was Disney's Mars Need Moms, which rounded out the top five. The movie only grossed $6.8 million in its opening weekend, however it cost $150 million to produce.

Ouch! That's a huge loss!

We haven't seen a Disney animated film do THIS bad. Yikes.

So…what did U see this weekend??

Matt Damon Vs. Barack Obama: Round 2

Filed under: Matt DamonMedia MinutePolitikBarack Obama

matt damon vs barack obama round two

Last week, The Adjustment Bureau star Matt Damon totally called out Barack Obama for his education policy.

Now, Damon's got even more to say against Obama:

"I think he's rolled over to Wall Street completely. The economy has huge problems. We still have all these banks that are too big to fail. They're bigger and making more money than ever."

And as a reminder, here's what Damon said about Obama's education policy last week:

"I really think he misinterpreted his mandate. A friend of mine said to me the other day, I thought it was a great line, 'I no longer hope for audacity.' He's doubled down on a lot of things, going back to education… the idea that we're testing kids and we're tying teachers salaries to how kids are performing on tests, that kind of mechanized thinking has nothing to do with higher order. We're training them, not teaching them."

Do U agree with Damon's comments against Obama? All of them? Any of them?

Depp Vs. Damon At The Box Office

It was a battle between Johnny Depp and Matt Damon at the box office this weekend.

So who came out on top??

Mr. Depp won with his animated movie Rango!

Making about $38 million in ticket sales, the animated feature clearly took the number one spot with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt's The Adjustment Bureau coming in number two with $20.9 million.

Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgen's film Beastly opened at number three with $10.1 million. The film was inexpensive to make so the numbers were decent, but not great.

Rounding out the top five movies were Hall Pass with $9 million and Gnomeo and Juliet with $6.9 million.

Were movie-goers in a slump this weekend??

Seems like none of the Oscar-winning movies got much of a boost from last week's awards show. Not even Best Picture winner The King's Speech.

What did U see this weekend??

Emily Blunt Needs A Color Adjustment

When we saw Emily Blunt at the New York City premiere of The Adjustment Bureau we tried so hard to like her outfit.

Let us start off by saying the Elie Saab Haute Couture dress is stunning and so is Emily, but mixing them together doesn't work.

Her makeup and skin tone is too similar to the dress color. Kinda like Scarlett Johansson at the Golden Globes.
