The band is a Universal artist, and the 34-year-old served as an international producer manager for Mercury Records. UMG CEO Lucian Grainge issued a statement about Thomas' untimely passing, writing:

"At this point, we have confirmed that Thomas Ayad, an international product manager for Mercury Records lost his life in the attack on the theater. This is an unspeakably appalling tragedy. I cannot even begin to express the depth of my sorrow. On behalf of everyone here at UMG, we extend our most profound sympathies to his parents and all of his friends and family. Today is a dark day. We are a family. Let's support one another as we grapple with the weight of this darkness."

Over the weekend, it was also confirmed that the Eagles of Death Metal's merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, was also killed in the horrific incident.

The 36-year-old's family released a statement, saying:

"It is with huge sorrow that we can confirm that our beloved Nick lost his life at the Bataclan last night. Nick was not just our brother, son and uncle; he was everyone's best friend – generous, funny and fiercely loyal. Nick died doing the job he loved and we take great comfort in knowing how much he was cherished by his friends around the world. Thank you for your thoughts and respect for our family at this difficult time. Peace and light."

The Black Keys Give A Fever-ishly Good Performance On Saturday Night Live! Watch The Video HERE!

The Black Keys

We’ve got a fever! And the only prescription is more cow bell Black Keys!

The rock star duo dropped by Saturday Night Live last night and performed two tracks off their new album, Turn Blue.

First up was Fever, their first single off of Turn Blue!

So catchy and compelling! We love the synthesized organ under Dan Auerbach’s vocals and Patrick Carney’s drumming!

For their second song (introduced by Charlize Theron covered in blood!) the guys went with something edgier in Bullet In The Brain!

The more we watch and listen to these two, the more we wonder: are the Black Keys the best band in rock and roll right now??

Press PLAY on the double dose of videos (below) and decide for yourselves
