That ain't right!

Mad Men costumer designer Janie Bryant got snubbed big time by the Emmys!

For the past three years the show has been nominated for Outstanding Costumes For A Series, but this year they were noticeably absent from the category.

Instead Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, Once Upon a Time, The Borgias and Game of Thrones will be battling it out for the golden statue on September 23rd.

Oh well, Mad Men was still nominated for 17 other awards, so missing one isn't that big of a deal, right?

Well that didn't take long at all, did it?!

Showtime's latest series, The Borgias, which stars Jeremy Irons as the nasty-ass honeybadger patriarch of the historical Borgia family, debuted earlier this month, but has reportedly already been renewed for a second season!

Apparently, the show has already delivered the best ratings for a new drama from the network in SEVEN YEARS, and in its premiere week alone, garnered over 3.71 million views!

According to network President David Nevins:

"The Borgias has become Sunday night appointment viewing for a broad swath of our subscribers. Neil Jordan's cleverly crafted tale of a 15th century papal family has proven quickly addictive. It's a tribute to his incredible skills as an auteur and to the extraordinary cast led by Jeremy Irons that this show fits so seamlessly into our line-up of quality shows."

Damn! We're going to have to check this one out!

Congratulations to the cast and crew! You guys clearly have created something of which to be proud!
