Jon Brookes, the drummer and a founding member of British band, The Charlatans, died this week in the UK. He was 44.
Jon had been diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2010 after collapsing onstage in Philadelphia, and in the last three years had several operations to combat the growth.
He was working on new material with the band this Summer, though last month the group let it be known Jon had undergone another surgery.
Upon Jon's death, The Charlatans released a statement about their friend's passing, saying:
