Skyfall Shoots Ahead As The Critics' Choice For Best Action Movie!

Skyfall Best Action Movie

What a shake-up! Not a stir-up!

Skyfall has won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Action Movie!

The James Bond film left The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Looper in the dust like women in his Asten Martin's rearview!

Daniel Craig showed the super heroes and time travelers what a plain old, er, incredibly handsome superspy could do!

And he didn't even wear tights and a cape! What a shame! LOLz!

Oscar Frontrunners REVEALED?! PGA Award Nomination List!

producers-guild-pga-2013-nominations-oscars

Woo-hoo! Another list, LOLz!!

The Producers Guild of America just unveiled their 2013 nominees for best producers in the biz and we are super stoked to share it with you!

Is it because we're rooting for our fave producers to win a PGA Award?

Nope.

To be honest, not even the world's top scientists understand EXACTLY what a film/TV producer does — though we suspect it involves writing checks, cashing checks, and lots of screaming.

We care because these lists are a fairly accurate precursor to which actors and movies will garner the most Oscar consideration!

And, judging by this PGA list, we could be in for several shocking Academy Award snubs when their list of nominees goes public next week!

Critical darlings like Moonrise Kingdom and Life of Pie, for example, are getting nods over record-breaking blockbusters like The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises!!

Of course, we won't know for sure what Oscar and his pals will decide until January 10th!

Ch-ch-check out a complete list of the PGA nominees (below):

Kristen Stewart's Tittays Didn't Save On The Road!

On The Road Box Office Disappointment

The Avengers. The Dark Knight Rises. Skyfall.

No one expected On The Road to be a smash hit like these box office juggernauts, but even moderate expectations can lead to disappointment when they aren't met!

Considering the source material is one of the most beloved books of the 20th century, not to mention stars like Kirsten Dunst and Kristen Stewart, the film was expected to do better.

Instead, it pulled in just $43,000 opening weekend. Sure, that was only on four screens, but that's still a meager earning, greatly reducing its chances of a wide release.

It seems people would rather see The Hobbit's bare feet than Kristen's bare bosoms!

Even Rupert Sanders is going to see if he can direct a future installment! LOLz!

steven-spielberg-critics-choice-nomination.jpg

Award season is just starting, but Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln is already breaking records!!

The film—with a star-studded cast including Daniel Day-Lewis, Tommy Lee Jones, and Sally Field— received a whopping 13 nominations for the 18th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, beating Black Swan’s 12 nominations in 2011.

Other big stakeholders this awards season look to be Les Misérables with 11 nominations and Silver Linings Playbook with 10 nominations.

To be honest, we can’t even begin to predict who will win. AllMost of the movies we’ve seen in 2012 have been great!

What we do know is that this year's red carpet will be ESPECIALLY HOT with babelicious actors like Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Ben Affleck, and Mila Kunis scoring nominations. YUM!!!
