Our most favez monkey actress, Crystal, is back!
It's only been a few months since
the capuchin monkey America's hosttest new actress dazzled movie goers (and illegal downloaders) in The Hangover Part II.
Coming this December, Crystal will be co-staring in Almost Famous director Cameron Crowe's We Bought a Zoo! (His first feature film since 2005).
Crowe said of the monkey's performance:
"We feel this is Crystal’s breakthrough performance. It is her Carnal Knowledge. The role brings out colors we have yet to see. It is more mature than her Todd Phillips work. She is not just the hottest actress around, but also the most compelling"
We sure hope he's telling the truth!
The writer/director is relying on performances of Crystal and her co-stars Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson to recover the critical reputation he damaged with Elizabethtown.

Guess the 3D factor didn't hurt the movie too much.
Over the weekend, Johnny Depp and Disney once again delivered with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which achieved the biggest international opening of all time!
Looks like thar be more records to broken, because yesterday the movie officially passed the $400 million mark at the worldwide box office! AND in less than a week in release!!!
The Hangover II may slow it down a little bit this weekend, although families aren't TOO likely to take their kids to see the hard R-rated sequel, so Pirates' momentum might not slow down much at all…in fact it COULD pick up steam! It's Memorial Day weekend after all!
Do U think Pirates will continue to dominate at the worldwide box office? Any chance it will beat Hangover II this weekend???

Comedian Ed Helms was spotted walking this raccoon near Shoegasm on Friday. Like ya do.
Perhaps Ed is already shooting scenes from The Hangover III.
We're guessing the plot will be something (exactly) like the first movie, only it's set in NYC and Zach Galifianakis's role will be played by a raccoon.

China, the mother of all giant pandas, has extended their loan another 2 years for Linping, the first giant panda born in Thailand, allowing the animal to remain there until 2013.
Linping's parents were provided to the Chiang Mai zoo in 2003 on a 10 year loan and produced the cub in 2009, who has since become a national reality television star.
The one year and ten month old cub is the star of a live 24-hour
Truman Show Panda Channel that follows her every move.
She's so famous in Thailand that a competition to name her shortly after being born attracted 22 million entries! We're not even sure if that many people vote for American Idol contestants.
Sounds like she's ready to take her fame to the next level and turn into an international star.
We think Todd Phillips should squeeze her into the plot of The Hangover II if he hasn't already done so.
