Mark Ruffalo's Hulk Will Be Hairy, Like Him!

Good! Hopefully this version will be a little more lifelike than the past interpretations!

We were very excited to hear that Mark Ruffalo would be taking over as the Hulk in lieu of Eric Bana and Edward Norton in the upcoming superhero flick The Avengers, and now even moreso, since the actor has on gone and record to reveal that the latest look of the CGI hero will be done with motion captor, and will even feature more body hair than the previous versions!

He explains:

"No one's asked me to shave my chest yet, thank God. They want this Hulk to be as close to me as possible. I'll be playing him in motion-capture, so this Hulk will just be a bigger avatar version of me. As they're modeling him, they're using many of my own features, down to my scars and wrinkles. He will have body hair, but I don't know to what extent."

Nice! We're pretty down with Ruffalo in any capacity, so the idea that the new Hulk will be modeled more closely to his likeness is fine by us - especially if he ends being just as furry as the real-life actor!

YUM! Ha!

We can't wait to see how it comes out!

Come on guys, let's see a teaser pic! LOLz!

Jeremy Renner Making A Cameo In Thor As Hawkeye!

jeremy-renner-to-cameo-in-thor-as-hawkeye

Makes sense to us! He was pretty much the only one to not have a previous appearance on the big screen!

Jeremy Renner was announced to be portraying Hawkeye in the upcoming superhero ensemble flick, Super Friends The Avengers - which also features the likes of Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, Captain America, and Black Widow, all of whom who have starred in separate franchises - but now, we've gotten word that the actor will be making a cameo as the character in the upcoming Thor!

According to a source who has seen the footage:

"In the concept art, we see Renner wearing similar dark glasses and a leather outfit with a matching over-the-shoulder leather quill for his arrows, only the movie version of Hawkeye has the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo emblazoned on it to show his government allegiances. His precision bow is much like the one used by archers who do it for sports and hunting."

Inneresting!

Glad to hear that they're setting the scene for him so his appearance in Avengers doesn't seem so completely out of left field!

We're very curious to see how the character is interpreted for the big screen! He's one of our faves!

What do U think?? Are U excited to see Jeremy as Hawkeye??

Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark Producers Diss Julie Taymor, Bring On Co-Director

producers to hire co director for spider man musical

Sorry, Miss Taymor. You win some, you lose some.

Last we heard about Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, producers were hiring writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa to fix the show's book.

Guess the producers feel that re-writing the book isn't going to cut it, because they're also hiring a co-director for the show.

Looks like producers will most likely be bringing on The Boy From Oz's Phil McKinley to help out director Julie Taymor with Spider-Man.

What will they change about the show next? Are they going to change the Superhero from Spider-Man to The Hulk???

Has The X-Men: First Class Villain Been Revealed?

x men first class villain may have been revealed

Back in August, we announced some exciting details on the plot of X-Men: First Class!

Now, it looks like the X-Men MAY have their villain!

Here's a hint at the bad guy from a plot summary for the film:

"Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not arch-enemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men."

Armageddon could def be the villain, as there have been two characters in the Marvel Universe that have gone by that name. They are…

- An artificially-created offspring of Apocalypse

- Ruler of alien "Troyjan empire"/antagonist for The Hulk

The name Armageddon could, of course, also refer to the Bruce Willis/Ben Affleck movie an event that could potentially end the world…if the X-Men don't stop it.

Hopefully we'll learn more soon. We're just excited to hear updates! We're pumped for this one!

What do U think Armageddon refers to here? Offspring? Alien Emperor? End Of The World? Liv Tyler flick?

The Hulk Is Coming TO ABC!

the-incredible-hulk-abc-tv-show.jpg

Don't groan! Wait till we tell you who's behind this!

Sources are confirming that acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro and Battlestar Galactica executive producer David Eick are finalizing a deal to create the new TV series version of The Hulk for ABC.

Taking a page from the original series rather than the movies, the new show would focus on Bruce Banner in his younger years, enabling the studio to hire one foxy hunk to play the Hulk. The process of creating the mean-green machine will be different than the movies as well. Along with minimal CGI animation, the monster will be mostly made of a mixture of prosthetics and puppetry. While Del Toro directing the pilot episode is still pending on his schedule, he will be heavily involved in the designing of the character Hulk. David will be writing the script.

Yeah, regretting that groan now, aren't you? We thought so.

You have a bit of a wait for this one to hit the small screen (they're looking a summer 2012 premiere), but if they do they're best work on this, we think it'll be worth the wait.

How many of U are stoked to see The Hulk return to primetime?
