Hurt Locker Actor Jeremy Renner Gay??

Filed under: Gay Gay GayYummy Yummy ScrewLGBT

We are going to take this rumor with a grain of salt, but hey - we can dream, right? He is SEKSI!

The National Enquirer is reporting that Jeremy Renner, the Oscar-nominated star of The Hurt Locker is HOMOLICIOUS, and although not closeted, he prefers to keep the subject of his sexual preference out of the press.

Melanee Wyatt, who claims to have worked as Renner's acting coach way back when, says:

"I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy's boyfriend, but the fact that Jeremy is gay has never been a primary concern."

Other sources claim that despite his amazing performance as a military bomb-squad leader, Renner just wants to star in a musical!

Yes, because all gay men just DIE for musicals.

But, hey - Jeremy should be flattered!! You know you've made it when the gay rumors start!!

Sean Penn Kicked Out Of Oscar Party For Fighting

According to E!'s Giuliana Ransic, Sean Penn was thrown out of the Governor's Ball on Sunday night for punching one of the Hurt Locker producers, Greg Shapiro.

Guess Peen freaked out that the producer is dating his ex Robin Wright! At least he's dating someone his own age, which is more than we can say for Sean!

Is this a rumble at high school prom or are we adults?!

Grow up already!

Update: Penn's rep claims that this incident never took place and that he didn't even attend the Governor's Ball. An Academy rep stated that Sean chose not to attend, while another claims that he was never turned away. Apparently, he attended the Sunset Tower Hotel after party.

We're sure that was the least of his problems after last night!

As you can see (above) Oscar winning Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow got a better seat at the Oscars than Avatar director and ex-husband James Cameron.

Bet she's glad she no longer has to put up with his temper - especially after last night! Ha!

New Love For Jessica Simpson?

What a cute potential couple!

Jessica Simpson was spotted with The Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner during a cocktail party at Guy Oseary's house (Madonna's manager) and they were getting very cozy!

J. Simpleton, who lives next door, stopped by with BFF Ken Paves and a source reveals, "Jeremy spent the night hitting on Jessica like crazy They were really flirting up a storm!"

Ken encouraged the two of them and by the end of the night they exchanged phone numbers. We have to admit they'd make a pretty hot pair — good for Jess!

And we bet Jeremy wants to experience the Sexual Napalm for himself!

Hurt Locker Sued Over Stolen Identity

Creators of the film The Hurt Locker was just slapped with a multimillion dollar lawsuit filed by Master Sergeant Jeffrey S. Sarver, who claims the film is based on him.

Those named in the suit are director Kathryn Bigelow, screenwriter Mark Boal, film's distributor Summit Entertainment, producer Voltage Pictures and even Playboy magazine, where Boal was working when he wrote the story about the bomb squad in Iraq that inspired the script.

Sarver's lawyer states:

"Plaintiff, Master Sgt. Jeffrey S. Sarver, is, in fact, the film's main character "Will James" or "Blaster One" [which was Master Sgt. Sarver's "call signal" during his tours of duty in Iraq]." Also, "virtually all of the situations portrayed in the film were, in fact, occurrences involving Master Sgt. Sarver." The film represents "…nothing more than the exploitation of a real life honorable, courageous, and long serving member of our country's armed forces, by greedy, multi-billion dollar 'entertainment' corporations."

Due to an armed services press program, Boal was allowed to be embedded in Sarver's unit, but he allegedly used personal details from his life in an embarrassing way.

"We have no doubt that Master Sergeant Sarver served his country with honor and commitment risking his life for a greater good, but we distributed the film based on a fictional screenplay written by Mark Boal," said Summit Entertainment.

Hurt Locker Producer Is BANNED From Academy Awards!!

Guess your actions have consequences!!

After disregarding Academy rules and publicly campaigning for his film, The Hurt Locker, through mass e-mails to voters, producer Nicolas Chartier has been banned from the Awards Ceremony on Sunday!

Apparently Chartier faced an executive committee of the Producer's Branch during a special session on Monday regarding the e-mail, which blatantly made a negative reference to fellow "Best Picture" nominee Avatar.

That really sucks, especially if The Hurt Locker wins!! He won't be able to accept his award!!

Guess this is why sometimes it's really important to not step on James Cameron's the Academy's toes!!
