One of the best moments of the 2015 OSCARS was Graham Moore's epic acceptance speech for Best Adapted Screenplay.

The Imitation Game writer revealed that he had attempted suicide as a teen because he felt weird and different and encouraged young people who also felt that way to power through.

It was one of the best, most incredibly moving speeches we've ever heard.

The Imitation Game Cracks The Code With An Oscar Win For Best Adapted Screenplay!

Your Reaction?

Lots of Oscar categories are tough to call, but few more so than this year's Best Adapted Screenplay!

With films based on books that tell such important stories, picking a winner must have been so difficult!

But in the end, the story of Alan Turing was honored above all as The Imitation Game took home the gold!

Considering it beat out American Sniper, Inherent Vice, The Theory of Everything, and Whiplash, that's one amazing honor!

Congratulations to screenwriter Graham Moore for his fantastic work!

Birdman Flies Away With The Critics' Choice Award For Best Acting Ensemble

Your Reaction?

There was some stiff competition, but Birdman flew away with first Critics' Choice Movie Award of the night!

Alejandro González Iñárritu's black comedy won the award for Best Acting Ensemble thanks to the excellent work from Michael Keaton, Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, Amy Ryan, and Andrea Riseborough.

While crushing its competition, Birdman beat out the casts from Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Into the Woods, and Selma.

Birdman was the most nominated film of the entire night, so it's no surprise that it started off with a win.

We wonder if it'll be able to sweep all 13 of its categories!?

Your Reaction?

We had a feeling that this is how the night was gonna end.

The 2015 Golden Globes came to a close with Boyhood winning the award for Best Motion Picture — Drama!

If you haven't heard, the Richard Linklater film was done over the course of a staggering 12-year period; something that's never been attempted in movie history!

To win the night's top prize, Richard and Boyhood had to beat out Foxcatcher by Bennett Miller, The Imitation Game by Morten Tyldum, Selma by Ava DuVernay, and The Theory of Everything by James Marsh.

We're hoping that this award for such a unique piece of art leads to other filmmakers taking crazy chances in the future.

Congratulations to everyone involved!

Birdman Wins The Golden Globe Award For Best Screenplay

Your Reaction?

Nope, you don't need to do a double take! Well, mostly because this film is practically one take.

When it came to honoring the scribes' duty of penning some of the year's best films, the Golden Globe Awards gave the gold to Alejandro González Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, Armando Bo, & Alexander Dinelaris, Jr for writing Birdman.

Taking home the award for Best Screenplay, these four beat out Wes Anderson for writing The Grand Budapest Hotel, Gillian Flynn for writing Gone Girl, Richard Linklater for Boyhood, and Graham Moore for The Imitation Game.

Congrats!

See? It only takes 12 years to win a Golden Globe Award!

Patricia Arquette took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her exceptional — and extended — work in Boyhood!

Her little experiment paid off big time as she beat out Emma Stone from Birdman, Jessica Chastain from A Most Violent Year, Keira Knightley for The Imitation Game, and even award machine Meryl Streep in Into the Woods!

They should start calling it Girlhood!

Way to go, Patricia!
