This is some Cate Blanchett shiz right here!
Naomi Watts skipped the popular princess silhouette and blazed her own trail in a custom sequined Giorgio Armani gown at the Oscars.
The Best Actress nominee for The Impossible looked SPECTACULAR in the gunmetal gray gown with a dramz-tastic pooling train!
She may not be the favorite to win, but she's DEFINITELY secured herself a spot on all the best-dressed lists.
Rock on, girl!

At this point, walking the red carpet must be a total breeze for Naomi Watts.
The star of The Impossible looked fantastic at the Visual Effects Society Awards in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
She chose a strapless red Zac Posen gown with floral embroidery and a sweetheart neckline for the occasion, keeping her hair and makeup simple and letting the dramatic dress be the main focus.
Though her straight hair seems a bit limp, we actually like the change from the side-swept curls she's been sporting lately.

Before she has to get all dolled up for the SAG Awards on Sunday, Naomi Watts is enjoying some fashion downtime.
The star of The Impossible went for a round of shopping in El Lay on Wednesday, looking comfy in an Isabel Marant peasant top, plum skinnies, black Loewe bag, and scuffed brown boots.
With her face scrubbed free of makeup and her hair loose around her shoulders, Naomi could've passed for a regular old Angeleno.
We're glad she's giving herself a breather before the glam squad goes to work on her.
See ya Sunday, girl!

Naomi Watts managed to be both seksi and age-appropriate at the G'Day USA Black Tie Gala at the Marriott hotel in El Lay on Saturday.
The 44-year-old star of The Impossible wore a light pink Gucci column gown, which featured a high neckline, back slit, and seductive open back.
Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and pumps, Jennifer Meyer jewelry, and a simple updo completed her effortlessly elegant look.

Continuing her publicity tour for The Impossible, Naomi Watts appears on the cover of Easy Living magazine's January issue.
The 44-year-old beauty flaunts her age-defying good looks in a gold halter dress styled with vampy red lips and voluminous blonde waves.
Inside the mag, she channels a classy UES housewife in an aquamarine long-sleeved satin dress as she poses with a deck of cards in hand next to an adorbs Yorkie.
Saucy!
Overall, it's definitely a look we're used to seeing from the actress, and we'd love to see her in some edgier, more out-of-the-box editorials in the future.
A change will do you good, Naomi!

This is definitely not a look for everyone.
Naomi Watts showed up to The Impossible premiere in London on Monday wearing a very unique Tom Ford number, and she totally pulled it off!
The fitted black dress looks like a pretty simple affair until Naomi lifts up her arms to show off those crazy circle sleeves!
Fierce!
The 44-year-old actress smartly kept the everything else simple to put the focus on her dress.
We adore her beehive/bouffant hairdo! It's very pin-up!
Her dewy skin and soft smoky eye completed the daring look.
