The decision has been made!

In May, Lara Spencer will bid The Insider farewell and return to Good Morning America as their new lifestyle contributor. Taking her seat alongside Kevin Frazier at the Insider desk will be CNN's Brooke Anderson. Since 2000, Brooke has covered entertainment news for the main network as well as co-hosted Showbiz Tonight on sister channel HLN.

Sounds like a perfect fit to us! Congrats, Brooke - and good luck!

On to bigger and better things! Good for her!

It was announced this morning that Lara Spencer is leaving her co-anchor position on The Insider to join Good Morning America. Starting this May, Lara will be the lifestyle anchor for the ABC morning news program, covering topics from parenting to health to fitness, as well as covering entertainment and celebrity news. In addition, Lara will contribute to ABC News' Nightline.

Fantastic!

After seven years, we bet her crew is going to miss her at The Insider, but this is a smart move for her! We're glad she's been given the opportunity!

Congrats, Lara!

Lara Spencer Denies Nancy O'Dell Feud!

The denial has arrived!

Despite reports that Lara Spencer is FURIOUS that Nancy O'Dell is replacing Mary Hart on Entertainment Tonight, and not her, The Insider host is putting on her faux smile and asserting that it's all just lies!

She explains:

"That couldn't be further from the truth. There's no feud. I have a great job. I host a show that I love and that I helped launch. O'Dell is a really great choice. I've known her for years and she's going to be a great addition to the team. There's nothing but love – and I mean that. I understand the speculation, but I am right where I want to be. I have been very much in the loop and on board and really happy right where I am."

Sounds like she's trying to convince herself, just as much as the rest of us, that she means what she says!

Don't be too upset though, bb!

For most people, all of those shows are pretty much the same, so it's not like you're in a horrible position with The Insider! Take it in stride, gurl!

Thoughts??

Lara Spencer Vs. Nancy O'Dell

SPOILER ALERT: Nancy wins

The Insider host Lara Spencer is PISSED that Mary Hart's Entertainment Tonight anchor chair has been given to Nancy O'Dell.

Sources say that ET producer Linda Bell had given O'Dell the "thumbs down" months ago, which makes this decision even more of a shocker.

Looks like O'Dell's agent, John Ferriter, approached CBS CEO Les Moonves, and convinced him to bail on Lara Spencer and give the anchor position to Nancy.

Apparently, Lara Spencer moved her family out to Los Angeles two years ago because she was promised that she'd get Mary Hart's job when the time came.

…Guess the time hasn't come!

What do U think about this news? Team Spencer or Team O'Dell?

Maria Menounos To Replace Mary Hart??

mariamarywenn.jpg

And we thought Lara Spencer had the job in the bag!

According to sources, CBS execs are looking at all possible candidates to replace the Entertainment Tonight hosting spot that Mary Hart held for 29 years.

The Insider's Lara Spencer was the obvious choice, but according to an insider, Maria Menounos could be the real deal since she "has had exclusive interviews with President Obama and the first family before any other journalist. She's also has interviewed the likes of Oprah, Jennifer Lopez and Lindsay Lohan, which were quite provocative and intense interviews."

Even though Maria is currently a correspondent on three different NBC shows, she's become a hot commodity and it "may turn into quite the bidding war."

Who do U want to see as the new ET host??
