The Interview Isn't Just Back In Theaters — Sony Brought Back Its Social Media AND Its Deleted Trailer!

Sony has really turned this around!

The company hadn't just canceled The Interview's release; they deleted all the film's social media profiles online — including its Twitter and Facebook account — after being threatened by hackers.

But now they're back!

And the move was brought about in anticipation of the Christmas day release that IS happening for this movie!

Sony also re-released the teaser they originally released but then deleted after announcing they had taken the film off the movie theater market! Yeah, that confused even us!

But this trailer makes us happy, so who cares? Great job all around, Sony!

It's officially Christmas come early for James Franco and Seth Rogen!

With news coming out that Sony has decided to release The Interview in theaters willing to play it on Christmas, the film's two stars took to Twitter to celebrate!

We're so excited that people will get to see the film, and that Sony hasn't backed down to the point of allowing fear to win the day over artistic expression!

Sony WILL Allow Theaters To Play The Interview On Christmas Day!

YESSS!

After canceling The Interview under threat of terrorist attacks, Sony has apparently changed its mind!

Tim League, founder of the Alamo Drafthouse theater chain, tweeted the news on Tuesday morning that Sony would indeed be allowing theaters to show the film on Christmas Day!

BitTorrent Inc. Lets Sony Know They're Willing To Host The Interview On Its Servers!

This is an option.

Sony has faced a lot of criticism for their decision to NOT release The Interview after threats were made against any movie theater that played the controversial movie.

But while the studio has claimed they would like to release the film someway, somehow - no options have opened up and there has been zero offers from any "none major VOD or one major ecommerce site."

However that may all change because BitTorrent Inc. has expressed their desire to provide to the film to the masses, and they believe Sony should definitely consider using their site to release the film!

While many people would think they should call Scandal's Olivia Pope to clean up Sony's PR mess following the hackings, they should really call THIS woman!

Judy Smith is the inspiration behind Kerry Washington's TV character, and she's been brought in by Sony to consult on how to fix their nightmare.

Sony Deletes Social Media Profiles For The Interview After Pulling The Plug On The Movie!

It seems like this movie is officially done-zo and the process of eliminating any trace of the flick has already started!

Sony recently has deleted The Interview's social media profiles online including its Facebook account and all of the tweets from the movie's Twitter account.

It also has deleted all of the videos they had originally put out in anticipation for the film on YouTube.

We guess they don't want any more incidents where they accidentally revealed a new trailer for the film AFTER they had announced they had cancelled the movie from playing anywhere.

Or it's possible that Sony actually met the demands of the hackers behind the original cyber attack who threatened executives at Sony on Friday when they apparently wrote

Sony CEO Responds: Claims They Did Reach Out To Obama & That They 'Have Not Caved!'

Earlier today, President Obama remarked that he thought Sony made a mistake in pulling The Interview from theaters.
