Late Night Hosts Roast Donald Trump's 'Last Night In Sweden' Comments! Watch!

no title

Over the weekend, Donald Trump put a spotlight on Sweden during his Florida campaign rally by making comments about a terrorist attack that never happened.

Lamenting about recent attacks abroad, the president referenced an incident that occurred "last night in Sweden" — later clarifying he was referring to a Friday night Fox News report on the Nordic country's immigration issues.

And you better believe this snafu was gobbled up by late night hosts on Monday night like a bag of Swedish fish!

On Late Night's "A Closer Look", Seth Meyers showed a clip of a Swedish reporter saying people there were "making jokes," and pointed out how bad things are going under Trump that we're "getting roasted by Swedes."

Stephen Colbert took a much darker route on The Late Show, playing a in memoriam segment for Sweden as "the third not-a-terrorist attack" in the past month, following the Bowling Green Massacre and Atlanta. Sad!

Donald Trump's Ridiculous Press Conference Gets The Late Night Treatment! Relive The Insanity!

no title

There's one thing we definitely agree with Donald Trump about: he sure knows how to make for great television!

The president's press conference on Thursday was so hilariously unhinged, it came across like a full on Saturday Night Live sketch.

So, it's no surprise that late night hosts re-wrote "yuge" chunks of their shows to cover the hour-plus long ordeal — in which POTUS attacked the press, avoided questions about Russia, bragged about the election, and came across like a damn fool.

Seth Meyers didn't have to try very hard to make Trump seem incompetent during Late Night's "A Closer Look" on Thursday, pointing out how the pseudo-politician already wants to start campaigning for re-election instead of actually governing the people.

Stephen Colbert was just as baffled on The Late Show, poking fun at President Tiny Hands for lying about the size of his electoral college win in the election (Barack Obama's was muchhhh bigger, Donny boy) and getting corrected by the press over his alternative fact spewing.

And, yes, even Jimmy Fallon got in on the fun on The Tonight Show, bringing out his Trump impression for a press conference-inspired cold open.

While Fallon's Trump is definitely a silly one, we don't think it measures up to the craziness of the real thing at this point!

Late Night Donald Trump Slam! Seth Meyers & Stephen Colbert Introduce You To The New Face Of Doofy Lies, Stephen Miller!

no title

We love when politically savvy late night hosts take on Donald Trump.

For instance, Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert spent Monday night making fun of his asshole handshake move, his first (of likely many) ignominious team member resignation, and his obsession with imaginary voter fraud.

But it's nice when they have a new subject to sink their comedic teeth into.

Enter new Senior Advisor/meat puppet Stephen Miller.

But the latest team Trump isn't nearly so good at shoveling shit as Kellyanne Conway, which makes it more fun to watch as he quickly gets in over his head.

Late Night Hosts Skewer Trump's Media Malarkey & Try To Remember The Bowling Green Massacre That Never Happened

no title

More on this fake news story as it doesn't develop…

Donald Trump kicked off yet another week by attacking the media with outrageous accusations — which means more late night segments were dedicated to debunking the president's alternative false facts.

Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert reamed President Pinocchio (you know, because he lies and he's a puppet!) on Monday night, ripping on his claims that the "very, very dishonest press" isn't reporting on major terrorist attacks.

Both hosts compared POTUS's comments to his adviser Kellyanne Conway's remarks about the Bowling Green Massacre, a horrible tragedy that never happened.

Colbert gave Conway the benefit of the doub on The Late Show, joking that he was a "Bowling Green truther" and promised to have more on the story as it doesn't develop.

Meyers dissected these latest claims a bit more on Late Night's "A Closer Look." The SNL alum noted Trump administration's ridiculous lies were made to distract us "from other, worse lies" — like when Conway falsely claimed that Barack Obama also banned Iraqi refugees to justify Trump's awful travel ban.

Jon Stewart Returns To Stephen Colbert's Late Show To Reveal Donald Trump's Next 3 Ridiculous Executive Orders!

no title

The nation is rapidly changing under the captivity of Donald Trump, who has, as of this writing, signed a whopping 20 executive orders in his first 10 days in office.

Stephen Colbert was overwhelmed by the president's controversial policies on Tuesday's Late Show, and got his old pal Jon Stewart to help poke fun at the political chaos.

In his first late night stint since the inauguration, the former Daily Show host came out dressed as the fashionable POTUS — donning a six-foot long red tie and an actual dead animal clinging to his head.

After some back-to-school banter between the longtime collaborators, Stewart read off three executive orders he claimed Trump was preparing to sign: like tricking Mexico into buying off China's Great Wall and changing the new official U.S. language to "bullshit."

Stewart got a bit more serious with his third faux-executive order, begging to citizens to band together to keep the orange POTUS from turning into a Star Wars villain. We think it's a little too late for that…

Stephen Colbert's Commentary On Obama's Final Press Conference Is Funny… But Mostly Sad…

no title

Stephen Colbert took a teeny little break from bashing Donald Trump to covering his predecessor's final press conference.

But Barack Obama's message of hope, that America is "gonna be OK," was no solace for Stephen.

Why so sad? Oh right. Because Obama's successor is already showing what an unaware buffoon he is.

Late Night Hosts React To Donald Trump's Latest Disastrous Cabinet Picks — And His Meeting With Kanye West!

no title

Throughout his campaign, Donald Trump swore against aligning himself with big bankers and corporate executives as a part of his populist scam rhetoric.

But as the president-elect fills his cabinet, it's become quite clear he's surrounding himself exclusively with rich donors… and one narcissistic rapper!

On Tuesday, late night hosts pounced on the incoming POTUS' recent cabinet appointments, such as Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State, that have gone against what Trump preached during his campaign.

Seth Meyers pointed out this hypocrisy on Late Night, calling out some of Trump's questionable picks — like Hardee's/Carl's Jr. CEO Andrew Puzder for labor secretary and longtime Goldman Sachs banker Steven Mnuchin for treasury secretary.

But it was Stephen Colbert who dissected Trump's most high profile sit-down at Trump Tower — his meeting with Kanye West!

The Late Show host joked that the two were going to release an album (titled "The Deportation of Pablo," of course) but cautioned that their meeting was a security risk, quipping:
