You guys, don't get us wrong, we LOVE The Notebook.
Honestly, who doesn't? The iconic 2004 film — based off Nicholas Sparks' 1996 bestseller — melted the hearts of millions and made us all believe that true love will always prevail.
Now, the story will be adapted once again, but this time on the small screen!

The CW is working on a series centered on Noah and Allie's romantic relationship after they broke up, fell out of touch, came back into contact, and finally got back together.
The show will serve as a period piece, depicting their lives during the politically-charged decade of the 1940s. But will we still see Noah and Allie as an elderly pair?
The network's president Mark Pedowitz says probably not:
"I don't believe we're going to see the older couple—what they become. But things change [in development]. I'm thrilled Nick Sparks wanted to do it at The CW."
This is a very inneresting idea, but we're not entirely sure why it's necessary. Let's be honest, the film was flawless. And besides, didn't James Garner's character mention every notable thing about rekindling their romance already?
With that said, we'll probably be tuning in. At the very least to see if the lovebirds have the same on-screen chemistry as Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
Will U be watching?
