He brought us literary gems like The Notebook, Dear John and The Lucky One and now, Nicholas Sparks wants to write with YOU!
Sparks is giving his readers the chance to work with him on a group story, which they can create on USAWeekend.com!
The only thing the best-selling author provides is the story's title, The End Of All Things as well as the first and last sentences…the rest is ALL yours to construct!!!
The first sentence reads:
"Jasmine Blake thought she understood what love meant until the day she almost died."
And ends with:
"She was just falling asleep when the car stopped, and Rick whispered, 'We're home.'"
So many possible scenarios! So many story lines!
Sparks himself offers a tip to aspiring writers, saying:
"There's no magic answer. If you're going to write a novel about everlasting love, the characters can't be teenagers."
Readers will be able to join in, collaborating on Jasmine’s story until the last sentence is reached and the site will provide an update every day from now until April 20, the same day The Lucky One starring Zac Efron hits theaters!
This is such a cool idea!!!
How would U add on to the story?
