This might not mean much to you, but in the large scheme of things, it equals a lot of DRAMA for Oprah Winfrey.

Five months into the network's launch, the Big O's network, OWN, is facing another setback as CEO Christine Norman has decided to step down and will be replaced by Peter Liguori.

The official release insists that the change "reflects a transition from a launch phase to a more long-term focus on business and creative strategy," but we have our doubts that this was really something the network wanted. However, Oprah came to the rescue with her own statement, hoping calm those who think the network is doomed before it even had begun. She explains:

“I want to thank Christina for her important accomplishments, incredible passion and many sacrifices in helping to launch the network.With the final taping of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" only a few weeks away, I will soon be able to devote my full energies to OWN. This is a natural point of transition, and I am confident that Peter, as an integral part of the launch of OWN, will be a terrific partner for me going forward. He is one of the smartest, most creative executives in media, and I look forward to his leadership as we build our development slate and work toward the launch of OPRAH’S NEXT CHAPTER. Over the remainder of the year, Peter and I will work together to recruit a permanent CEO for OWN's next phase of growth."

Oh yeah - poor Peter doesn't even get the job! He just gets to play "Interim Chief Executive Officer" until they find someone else. So, you guys didn't really plan very well for this "transition" did you?

These are the hard decisions only Oprah Winfrey can make.

Last week, Oprah sat down with our President and First Lady for an in-depth interview. At the time, she asked all the right questions and got down to the nitty-gritty of being the First Family. However, after the events of Sunday night - you know, when he gave the order to kill Osama Bin Laden - The Big O had to consider pulling the episode entirely.

According to O via her Twitter, she felt the interview would feel "dated" in light of recent events and wasn't sure if it was even worth airing. However, in the end, the interview did make it to air, but was bombarded with graphics constantly reminding viewers that the episode had been pre-recorded.

Eh, we're sure your viewers understand O…though, in hindsight, it would have been a good idea to touch upon the war on terror. That would've made one killer sound-bite.

What a great week for Rob Lowe.

He appeared on Oprah, his HIGHlarious TV show Parks & Rec is climbing in the ratings, and his new book Stories I Only Tell My Friends was released.

Speaking of which, Rob signed copies of his book at the Barnes and Noble in the Grove in El Lay on Friday and we hate to admit it, but he's starting to kinda look his age.

He's probably just had a busy couple-a days and sure, he's super tired, but he still looks WAY hot! Especially since he is 47-years-old!

No matter how old he gets, he's still going to be a good looking man.

Whatever you're doing, Rob, just keep doing it.

What an honor!

If we were her, we'd never wash that cheek again!

Oprah Winfrey recently took to the interwebz to show off a very special lipstick stain she had planted right on her cheek from none other than our beloved Lady GaGa, who made a visit to her show for a surprise performance, set to air next Thursday!

Surprises can be pretty awesome, but a GaGa SURPRISE?! Damn, that must be epic!

We can't wait to see the show! Lord knows our Mother Monster is going to pull out all of the stops!

We'll be sad to see her go, but we're VERY excited for these final episodes!

Oprah's company Harpo Prods. has announced plans for the last couple of eps of the show.

According to a statement released by Harpo, the third-to-last and second-to-last episodes will be taped at the United Center in Chicago "to accommodate 'the biggest names in movie, music and TV.' ”

Here's what executive producer Sheri Salata had to say about Oprah's farewell:

“As most of our viewers know, being surprised is not one of Oprah’s favorite things. In the spirit of our farewell season, she is making a rare exception and we intend to make the most of the opportunity. It will be something to see!”

The two-part celeb-filled episodes will air on May 23-24. The series finale airs on May 25.

This is the way The Oprah Winfrey Show ends…and we fully approve! Way to go out with a bang!

You're really going to want to watch this.

For the majority of her twenty-five years on air, Oprah Winfrey has sat pretty comfortably with the knowledge that she is a priority. She comes first with her staff, her viewers and she assumed the same went with her guests. It is, after all, an honor to be invited on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Hell, it took Stevie Nicks 25 years to make it on so you know it's gotta be something special!

Anyway, in promoting her series, Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes, The Big O shared this scene from an upcoming episode. Check out the video (above) to watch as Oprah loses her cool BIG TIME with Jennifer Hudson after girl double-books her taping day and flies out of state BEFORE her Oprah performance in a BLIZZARD.

Needless to say, Oprah is PISSED!!!!

It seems like Oprah is tying up a lot of loose ends before her final show airs on May 25.

A Million Little Pieces author James Frey will brave Oprah's hot seat once again to discuss what his life has been like since his last appearance on her show and of course, also promote his new novel, The Final Testament of the Holy Bible.

If you recall, James' memoir A Million Little Pieces was chosen for Oprah's book club back in 2006. But, when it was discovered that many of his stories were fabricated, she blasted him on air, which later resulted in him fleeing to France.

Since that episode aired, Oprah did apologize to James a couple years later. A source said:

"Oprah apologized to James a couple of years ago, and he appreciated it. So he agreed to go back on her show and talk about everything that's happened over the last five years."

In his new book, James writes about the Second Coming of Christ - "but the messiah turns out to be a former alcoholic who impregnates a prostitute."

Hmm, sounds interesting. Perhaps he used a little symbolism??

We'll have to wait and find out
