Saturday marks the anniversary of Diem Brown's tragic passing. On November 14, 2014, the MTV personality sadly lost her battle with cancer.
And on Thursday, The Challenge competitor's friends and family decided to celebrate her life at No.8 club in NYC.
The Fresh Meat star's loved ones decided to honor the late blonde beauty by dancing the night away at an '80s-themed party.

At the event, Real World alum Aneesa Ferreira told People that she will always remember Diem's bravery, saying:
"She was one of the good ones. People respected her for standing up to cancer and laughing in its face."
The 34-year-old also explained that the night's dance theme was the perfect way to pay tribute to the lovely lady's life, adding:
"We were always dancing together. No one could compete with her on the dance floor – whether she had hair or didn't!"
The party also served as a fundraiser for the entertainment reporter's charity, MedGift. Her sister Megan Brown hoped everyone remembers that her sibling lived her life to the fullest, even while she fought the disease for over a decade, saying:
"I hope people remember, she was diagnosed at 22 and passed at 34. In that short time she did more than people do their whole lives. After she passed I realized she inspired thousands and thousands. She was an inspiration of strength and had a love of life."
She said this is something that Diem tried to instill in her family up until the end, commenting:
"In the last few days of her life she would say 'Live like it's your last day.' She never realized how quickly cancer was going to take her. I think she would want everyone to not sweat the small stuff, and focus on the big story – surround yourself with good people and live your life to the fullest."
Our hearts are with Diem's friends and family as the emotional anniversary approaches, and we will always remember her beauty and love of life.
