Deadpool Is Officially Now The Highest Grossing R-Rated Movie Of ALL TIME! See Which Films It Beat!

Does this really surprise you?!

After Deadpool broke records overseas, as well as an epically successful opening night and first weekend, it should come as no surprise that the Ryan Reynolds flick has now become the top grossing R-rated movie worldwide!

After taking in another $5 million this past weekend in the U.S., the Merc with a Mouth now has a domestic total of about $349 million and $396 million from foreign markets — a massive $746 million global total!

That means Deadpool has now edged out The Matrix Reloaded which totaled $742 million worldwide to become the highest grossing R-rated movie ever!

On Wednesday's Late Late Show, the host and Martin Short transformed films like Goodfellas, Gladiator, and The Revenant into edgy musicals.
