Thursday night was a success in the ratings for The Big Bang Theory!

With the World Series on, most NBC comedies and X Factor took the night off, so the successful CBS comedy managed to garner an eight percent week-to-week and delivered the series' second-most watched Thursday episode ever with 14.7 million tuning in, while also matching its all time Thursday high in the 18-49 demographic, with a 4.9 rating!

CW's Secret Circle also went up around 13 percent week-to-week, with a 2.11 million viewership!

Wow! Guess the World Series wasn't as successfully as some networks anticipated!

Obviously, we've been less-than-thrilled with Netflix lately…but this is pretty cool.

Yesterday, we learned that The CW is giving full season pickups to both The Secret Circle and Hart of Dixie!

Now, in another big move by the company, The CW has announced that they've signed a 4-year licensing deal with Netflix, in which 700+ hours of CW shows will be available for streaming!

We think this is actually a smart move for the network, because it's NOT an exclusive deal…so they can also pursue opportunities with competitors, which MAY become necessary if Netflix continues with their downward spiral.

Following the tremendous news that Sarah Michelle Gellar's return to TV venture Ringer has been picked up for a full season is news that two other CW shows are getting the same deal. The Secret Circle, from the minds that brought you The Vampire Diaries will be finishing out the year as will Rachel Bilson's show Hart of Dixie.

Network president Mark Pedowitz made the official announcement yesterday morning, saying:

From the looks of this preview, it appears we'll be seein' a lot more from bad girl Faye (played by Phoebe Tonkin) this episode!

And to be honest, it looks like Phoebe will be the real break-out star of this series.

It's kinda like Mean Girls. Sure, LiLo was the star, but acting wise, Rachel McAdams was the stand-out talent.

Just somethin' bout those bad girl roles!
