Ireland Baldwin Is A Lucky Model For DuJour

ireland baldwin dujor magazine fall 2013 8

Has she ever looked more like her mother?!

Ireland Baldwin’s modeling career is steadily taking off, which we can see from her recent “Luck of the Irish” spread in DuJour magazine!

How apt!

The new big sister couldn’t have been more thrilled, saying:

"I am honored. Bruce [Weber] was one of the nicest men I have ever met and he was so professional. I loved working with him. The photos he shot of my mom were stunning. I would love to work with him again."

While her looks are definitely Kim Basinger’s, Ireland got her dad Alec Baldwin’s need to act. She explained where she wants her career to go:

'Here's Johnny…'s Dad'?! Is A Shining Prequel In The Works?

Jack Nicholson Shining Prequel Warner Bros Stephen King FIlm Flickers

For realzies?

Warner Bros unofficially announced they're developing a prequel to The Shining!!

That idea is more cray than Jack Nicholson busting through our bathroom door with an axe!!

First Psycho got a prequel TV series, then it was Silence of the Lambs' turn, and now Stanley Kubrick's horror masterpiece might enjoy be subjected to the same treatment?

Prequels and sequels are one rung further up the ladder than remakes but the trend is disconcerting!

It's obviously a bit too early to talk plot but Stephen King's novel contains tons of allusions to previous murders and mayhem within the horrifically haunted Overlook Motel. We imagine there are tons of different directions they could turn!

Tread lightly, WB. The Shining is an all time classic!

kardashians jenners americas next top model

We would like to apologize to any of you who have nightmares tonight because after seeing these images how could you not?

Kris Jenner and her modeling daughters Kendall, and Kylie made an appearance on America's Next Top Model, but not as judges.

The three Jenners actually posed a characters from The Shining for the elimination challenge and the contestants, dressed as toddlers, had to find the right pose to balance the picture.

It's definitely creative in a very creepy sort of way.

Make sure U check out the rest of the photos from the shoot (below)!

10 Things Stephen King Hates About You Has To Say About The New Stand

stephen king on the stand

Earlier this week, we learned that a new version of Stephen King's The Stand is in the works.

Now, King has opened up with his thoughts about the upcoming adaptation of his classic novel.

Here are the top ten things he had to say about it to Entertainment Weekly:

1. No one will be able to top Gary Sinise, who played Stu Redman in the original ABC miniseries. He was perfect. When he says “You don’t know nothing” to the soldiers who are putting him under mandatory quarantine, you believe his contempt completely. My runner-up pick would be Jake Gyllenhaal.
2. I didn’t know anything about the remake until I read about it on the Internet.
3. You absolutely can’t make it as a two-hour movie. If it was a trilogy of films…maybe.
4. Molly Ringwald won’t be playing Fran Goldsmith this time.
5. Rutger Hauer is a little too old to play the Walkin’ Dude, and that’s too bad.
6. People who’ve seen Kubrick’s The Shining dislike the miniseries I wrote (and my amigo Mick Garris directed) even if they haven’t seen it. That’s always annoyed me. But the wheel of karma turns! This time people will probably say, “The miniseries was lots better.” BUT…
7. …historically speaking, movie studios blow the budget on things like this, so maybe it’ll be fun to look at. The dough certainly isn’t going to me, although if it is a trilogy, and if it makes a lot of money, I might be able to buy a chicken dinner at Popeye’s. Great slaw!
8. Molly Ringwald will probably not play the Trashcan Man, either, but Billy Bob Thornton would be cool. Billy Bob’s always cool.
9. They need to write in a lot of heavy-metal for the soundtrack.
10. M-O-O-N, that spells “you probably won’t see this anytime soon.” And when you do, Woody Allen won’t be directing it. Or Molly Ringwald.

Thoughts???
