This is a terribly sad story.
Denise Borino-Quinn, who landed a role on The Sopranos with zero acting experience, has died at 46.
The former Sopranos actress had battled with liver cancer for a long time, and she died on Wednesday, six months after the death of her husband, Luke Quinn Jr.
Borino-Quinn was hired for the show after attending a casting call, and having never acted before.
Here's what Denise said about it in a 2009 interview:
"I had no intention of going to the open audition, and that was only
because it was advertised all over the newspapers and radio, and I knew it
was gonna be totally nuts. But my best friend, Maria Galasso, actually talked me into going and to this day, I’m so glad that she did! … To this day, I still can’t believe this happened to me."
Our thoughts go out to Denise's family and friends! She will be missed.

Looks like this could be a very promising one!
NBC will be picking up Jamie Foxx's new dramatic series Tommy's Little Girl, which stars Selma Blair, Paul Sorvino, Tony Sirico, and James Russo.
Impressive cast! The idea is being described as La Femme Nikita meets The Sopranos meets Awesome.
The story is about a young girl raised in a mafia family, who gets sent to an orphanage to hide after her family is killed. When she grows up, she becomes "an attorney by day, and a deadly, well trained killer by night." She seeks to avenge her family's murder, and searches for her last living relative.
We'll def be checking this out when it airs.
Does this type of show appeal to you? Will U check it out when it premieres?

Before she was Queen Gagalicious, a young Lady GaGa played a 15-year-old rebel on The Sopranos.
She was still fierce back then!!

In the battle between vampires vs. mobsters, the vamps win!
Sales for the first season DVD of HBO's True Blood have officially sold more than The Sopranos season one DVD.
The hit show, produced by Alan Ball, have sold 1.3 million copies, which is 37 percent more than the 943,000 DVDs of “The Sopranos” first season.
The show has even outsold HBO's Sex and the City, which sold 426,000 copies of its season one DVDs.
We're pretty sure a shirtless Alexander Skarsgard might have something to do with that!
