Selma Blair's humility is so inspiring.
On Wednesday, Ms. Blair appeared on the Talk to discuss her frightening outburst aboard a plane this past June.
As we previously reported, the actress was taken off a Delta flight over her adverse reaction to mixing prescription pills and alcohol. The star's son and ex-partner were also aboard the plane at the time of the incident.
Now that a few months have passed, S.B. is getting REAL about what really went down and how she's moving forward.
Speaking on the eye-opening moment, Selma revealed:
"I am someone who should never drink and I rarely do and I don't drink anymore, but I did. I was going through something. I had a glass of wine, someone gave me a pill that I thought was something that I had taken before, which I don't take on a regular basis. It was something completely different. A very bad choice and I had a total psychotic black out. It was horrible and frightening and I had empathy for myself actually afterwards because actually it was so out of character for me, especially now that I am a mother."
Well, at least the mom now knows her limits. Sometimes it takes a bad experience to set you straight!
The beauty went on to add:
"It must have been terrifying. It was terrifying…My son was with his father and he had slept through it. I knew he was going to sleep…and that's why I took this pill any how…bad choice all around. Totally own it, will not happen again. I keep it alive in me with me every day, I forgive myself, but I keep it alive."
What a wise outlook. Selma is truly a class act — everyone makes mistakes.
So, what do YOU think of the 44-year-old's interview?
