Animal Practice premiere on NBC tonight and the show's star, Crystal the monkey Justin Kirk, stopped by The Today Show to dish on his new show.

Justin says that most of the dogs and cats on the show are shelter and their handlers are really great people.

Now that's what we like to hear!!!

The show features a WIDE variety of species, from tigers, ostriches, turtles, hamsters, and more!

Michael Phelps might be "retired" (for now!) but he still has his medals and his pooches!

Along with his bulldog, Herman, Michael's newest doggie is Stella, a rescue.

Stella appeared on The Today Show with the swimmer and after taking a stroll with her, he INSTANTLY fell in love with the Catahoula mix.

Now Big Herm, Stella and Michael are one big happy family!

We wonder if Stella and Herm are good swimmers! LOLz!

The Today Show's Matt Lauer is going to build a state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar horse farm in the Hamptons.

The 47.5-acre property near his $15 million mansion was bought for less than it's $10.5 million asking price.

Way to negotiate!

The horse farm is said to include an indoor arena, jumping rings, a farm house and a "magnificent" horse haven.

He and his wife are serious horse enthusiasts so we're sure it'll be a happy, friendly and clean place for pampered horses to live out their lives.
