But who will come out victorious with the top prize?

This weekend was a real good one for Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Each had movies performed outstandingly well with critics and won coveted prizes at two important events.

Los Angeles Film Critics Association declared Clooney's drama The Descendants the best film of the year. However, Brad's Tree Of Life pulled in second at the LAFCA's and then showed everyone who was boss at the San Francisco Critics Awards by winning THREE tops awards, including Best Film. It also won for best directing and best cinematography.

Well, well. What to say about that! The Descendants is strong contender, no question. But perhaps there is more life in the Brad's Tree movie. Perhaps it has what it takes to take home the little, coveted, golden man.

Quite a day for Harry Potter news!

Earlier today, we heard the fantasticabulous news that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is coming to California!

While that is still a few years away, we may be able to sate our HP appetite a bit this weekend when/if Warner Bros re-releases Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in theaters!

As Awards season is creeping closer and closer, the National Board of Review has released their top ten movies of the 2011, as well as individual accolades in acting, writing, directing, etc. - and it seems as though between this and the nominees for the Independent Spirit Awards, there are some clear frontrunners all-around!

If you were one of the millions who went to see The Help, you've seen Jessica Chastain. She played the ditzy yet lovable social outcast, Celia Foote.

But pretending to fry her husband chicken isn't the only thing Jessica's been working on. She's also done The Tree of Life, The Debt, and Take Shelter.

Her next big project, The Wettest Country in the World, is slated for a December release. In this film, she co-stars with Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Gary Oldman, Guy Pearce, and Mia Wasikowska.

So, yeah, you could definitely call her an up-and-coming film star. And even a style icon! Vogue recently named her one of their style crushes. Of course, she giggled when she heard that, because she grew up reading the mag.

And ASOS has taken note too. They recently sat down with her after she did a beautiful spread for the magazine (peruse below), and asked her some interesting questions.

As we said last week, we think you and Angie are probs pretty good parents, Brad!

During a recent interview, Brad Pitt opened up about parenting, and admitted that he makes some mistakes:

"Not [like I'm] a horrible parent, but I've certainly made mistakes and had to make up for it."

Here's Brad on how he raises his kids, in comparison to the abusive father he plays in The Tree of Life:

"I certainly don't raise my kids that same way. I'm painfully aware that my actions leave a double mark on them in these formidable years, so I make sure I don't bring my crap at home."

More from Brad on how he wants to raise his kids:

"I want to keep them free to explore that innocence as long as possible and find out what's really interesting to them. I just don't want to encumber them in any way."

And Brad on whether or not he and Angie want their kids to be actors:

"Listen, I just want them to follow their bliss. Whatever makes them happy."

We all make mistakes, Brad, but we've gotta say overall it seems like you're doing a pret-ty solid job.

Angelina Jolie once again joined her lover Brad Pitt on the red carpet for the LA premiere of The Tree of Life.

At Tuesday night's soiree, the mother of 6 wore a red Jenny Packham one shoulder silk gown and Stuart Weitzman sandals.

We love it when Angie wears color, but she's not working this dress. Maybe she's still recovering from jet lag.
