Ahhhh! We can FINALLY put a face to the name!

The Vampire Diaries has cast actor Scott Parks as the menacing and merciless Silas — though his official episodic introduction has yet to be revealed. It better be soon given the May 16th finale!

But what will Ian Somerhalder think of this?! The smoldering actor was recently asked for his casting choice. His response?? Regis Philbin, of course.

WOW! If only we looked this HOT at our senior prom!

In the upcoming prom episode of The Vampire Diaries, set to air April 18th, vampires and humans alike end up at Mystic Falls High School's senior celebrations. And given Elena's (Nina Dobrev) dress, this prom looks more like a ball.

While some of The Vampire Diaries' biggest plot points center around Mystic Falls' events such as this, we suspect something big is headed our way.

Though, for the moment, any guesses as to who's taking whom to prom?

Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) are in attendance. Damon and Elena even look like they might be on the dance floor. And what exactly is going on with Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt)?!

While we leave you to ponder on that, we're declaring Caroline's (Candice Accola) dress our fave. Beading and rhinestones. Need we say more?

YIKES! Katherine is one mean, manipulative vampire-lady!

In the latest clip from The Vampire Diaries' American Gothic episode, Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) take a seat at a diner for a little tête-à-tête.

And before you know it, Katherine has Rebekah revealing things best left unsaid.

“I want a normal life again,” Rebekah says, to which Katherine, always ready with a response, replies:

Cut to Elena and Rebekkah (Claire Holt) on their search for Katherine. We’re still shocked by this strange duo, but it’s totally working for us!

There’s a new threesome on this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaires…

Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Elena (Nina Dobrev), and original vampire Rebekkah (Claire Holt) are making strange bedfellows far away from Mystic Falls. Letting loose in New York City, these three are remedying all the usual vampire dramz with some good ol’ drinking and dancing, of course.

Check out the new clip (above) from the upcoming episode in which Damon enlightens the ladies on his past with Lexi (Arielle Kebbel) — Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) vampire best friend whom Damon conveniently killed three seasons ago.

Who in their right mind would steal from a vampire?! Much less one as seksi as Ian Somerhalder!

The Vampire Diaries star left his iPod in his car, and some jerk broke into the vehicle just to get it!

Ian shared his misfortune on Instagram, letting the burglar know exactly how he felt! He wrote:

The Vampire Diaries has felt like an entirely different show this season with its new pairings and frenemy tensions. But perhaps the most sought after relationship by fans (after the main love triangle, that is) has been that between Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline (Candice Accola). These two are clashing once again over none other than Tyler (Michael Trevino). Surprise, surprise!

Caroline is still angry, and Klaus is still yearning for her approval and affection — until Stefan (Paul Wesley) walks in with some bad news…
