The ladies of The View took their turn remembering Soul Train legend, Don Cornelius.
Whoopi commented on how Soul Train transcended a generation and everyone remembers the show.
Sherri Shepherd commented on how she learned to dance (and spell!) from the famous music show.
Check out the video above and see the ladies discuss Don Cornelius.

If she's not, it will be a VERY bold and telling move on her part!
It's been nearly six years since Star Jones announced live on The View that she was leaving the show for good, without giving anyone any warning of her departure, least of all Barbara Walters. But bygones seem to be bygones as the big news today is that Star is returning to the show in February.
The former co-host is set to join the ladies to promote the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign, which aims to raise awareness about heart disease in women. As both Star and Barbara both underwent open heart surgery two years ago, it's an issue they both feel strongly about. Perhaps this is the thread that pulled these two back together!
We say, leave the past in the past … but if these two can make nice, anything is possible! Maybe they'll have Rosie O'Donnell on the show and make it a trifecta!
Too much?

Oh look. He's using Madonna for attention again. How quaint sad.
Yesterday, Piers Morgan was a guest on The View. We presume he had a reason for being there besides mouthing off about Madge, but he couldn't help but take the few minutes out to do it anyway.
While talking about the best and worst dress at the Golden Globes, Piers took a dig at Madonna, calling her arms "grotesque" and comparing her to a "caveman."
Maturity and tack have never been his strong suits.
Check out the video (above) to hear what other vile things he says about our beloved Queen of Pop.
How does that saying going about protesting too much? Yeah, that's this guy!

As previously mentioned, the Pope is afraid gay marriage will destroy the future and the ladies from The View discuss what wrong with the proclamation.
The consensus between the ladies is that there is A LOT of contradiction between religion leaders.

Leave it to Whoopi Goldberg to be the voice of reason.
Yesterday, the ladies of The View took time during their Hot Topics panel to discuss the use of slavery in a math question for 3rd graders! The story out of Georgie BLEW up in the news this week as the school's acceptance of such racist practices has fueled a lot of anger from parents, students and people nationwide.
Take a look at the video above to see what the ladies had to say about this issue.
Side note - Joy Behar should totally go back to teaching English! LOL!

Wow!
This iPad has seen a lot more than other iPads, that's for sure.
The view is beautiful as the piece of tech is floating up to a point where it can see the curvature of the Earth… and then the balloon pops. The stability of the iPad's case is then quickly tested.
The only issues we have with this are: there's that large thing underneath the case keeping, we assume, the iPad oriented in that direction. That would absorb some impact.
Also, what if we drop the iPad on it's face, which isn't covered by the case?
Either way, kinda cool! Check it out above!
