We've been excited for Hugh Jackman's next go as Wolverine in the aptly titled The Wolverine for a long time now. We were especially excited when Darren Aronofsky was attached to direct.

Sadly, he isn't anymore. That doesn't mean we've lost hope, though, as James Mangold has stepped in to helm the Wolvering-in-Japan flick! Plus, Hugh Jackman is gorgeously ripped. Need we say more??

We've heard that this movie takes place after the events in the X-Men trilogy, but we've also heard there are flashback scenarios too! So fab!

We just hope it earns an R rating!

This is the first official still FOX has released for the new X-Men spinoff The Wolverine, and w-w-wow Hugh has been working out! We've never seen someone so ripped!

Seriously, is it possible to have negative body fat? His skeleton my be adamantium, but those are abs of steel!

At least now we know why he has six claws: to open his six-pack! Da doi!

We are DEF going to see this movie! And then we'll probably see it again with the sound ON so we can find out what happens!

20th Century Fox just released The Wolverine's official plot synopsis and, yes, a great portion of the film will take place in Japan.

The sexiest wolfy to ever howl at the movie-screen moon combined entertainment with politics Tuesday, when he took Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard on a guided tour through the currently under-construction sets of mega-movie The Wolverine.

This wasn't just a tour of interest, ’cause Gillard and the Aussie government are actually helping finance the flick, providing a one time, federal grant of $12.8 million.
