How rude!!!
Police in Bowie, Maryland are on the hunt for two big, old meanies who actually stole from a group of Girl Scouts selling cookies.
Last week, the troop was outside a local Wal-Mart, bringing joy, happiness and Thin Mints to their neighbors at reasonable prices when a man approached the table. He asked about the cost of the cookies, then grabbed the cash box and ran like hell. A woman watching on started after him, when another man stopped her and claimed he would catch the fiend himself.
But according to surveillance video, this supposed good samaritan was actually the thief's accomplice and they both made off with $200 worth of cookie money. TWIST!!!
Thankfully, all the boxes of Samoas were accounted for.
P.S. - How little shame must a person have to be able to steal from a bunch of little girls?! Seriously!

STOP! THIEF!!
…said the penguin.
BBC's Frozen Planet has a segment about penguins and how the males build their nests to attract females.
They use stones to build their nests, but one penguin decided to go the easy (and illegal) way and steal his neighbors rocks.
Check out the above video to see one sly penguin thief in action.

If Cruella De Vil is alive she must be in America.
The number stolen pets in the states has skyrocketed over the past few years. It's not their fur the burglars are after - designer dogs (like teacup yorkies or mini labradoodles) are a pricy commodity, but only if they're alive.
If we are willing to pay more and more for dogs they are more and more likey valuable to thieves.
When Peggy Riley's San Antonio home was broken into thieves took only her computer and her two yorkie puppies. Much like the stylish Disney Villain, these burglars don't have the slightest idea how much
how much a pet can mean to someone.
"The distress has been to such a degree that I can't even explain. It's turned my life upside down. I don't have children so these are my babies."
Explained Riley, who would pay thousands to get her furry family back. Ugh, SO SO SAD!!
There's the numbers of dog thefts according to the American Kennel Club: 2008: 71; 2009: 162; 2010: 255; Jan-July 2011: 224 (150 same period last year).

Cory Monteith is best known for his role as Finn Hudson on Glee, but before he struck gold on the series, he has revealed that he spent a better part of his youth as a drug-addicted, alcoholic high school drop out…and all by the time he was 16!
And despite a stint in rehab, the only thing that helped him get his life together was an ultimatum from his family that they would press charges against him for stealing from them!
He explains:

Macbook and iMac owners, breathe easy! If your computer gets stolen, you can get it back!
There's a new Mac app called Hidden, which provides the following service, as described on its website:
"If your computer is stolen, Hidden will show you where it is and who has it."
And here's a testimonial about the service from Brad Reisner at Charitybuzz:
"We had a Mac ‘misplaced’ at a charity event so we logged into hiddenapp.com, marked the laptop stolen and followed the Google Maps dots. When we went to retrieve it the person who ‘found’ it had ripped all the company stickers off. Best $20 I've ever spent."
So cool! And given the fact that it only costs $15/year, we'd say this is def worth the peace of mind!
What do U think? Would U sign up for this service?
