Miracle Puss Falls 20 Stories Without Breaking Any Bones!

WOKAY!

We've heard of animals surviving some purdy steep falls, but this kitty surviver really must have 9 lives.

Gloucesterthe 16-year-old cat survived a breathtaking 20-story plunge from an Upper West Side apartment window with BARELY A SCRATCH!

"He didn't even chip a tooth or break a bone. I usually call him 'G,' but he's Super G. He is Miracle G now,"

his thankful owner, Barry Myers, 44, said yesterday of his amazing kitty's crash landing onto the pavement.

Gloucester's vet agreed, saying:

"He's lucky to be alive. Most cats would die outright, or suffer serious injuries. He made a miraculous recovery."

Myers mistakenly cracked the window open about six inches at his Lincoln Towers apartment before he left for Cape Cod with his wife and 5-year-old son for the July 4 weekend, never thinking that "G" could or would squeeze through.

We're sure G will make a speedy recovery… and possibly start fighting crime!

Science: Dogs Can Read Your Mind

Science: Dogs Can Read Your Mind

Think your dog totally gets you? Well you're totally right!

A recent Learning & Behavior study indicates that canines may have an innate ability to read humans mental and emotional status!

This idea of "canine telepathy" has been suggested before–often, pet owners comment on how their dog seems to know what they're thinking.

Researchers from the University of Florida found that the animals may be born with the ability to perceive and react to human emotion.

They found that the wolves were "sensitive to human attentional state under some conditions." That evidence suggests, for the first time, that dogs are born with the capacity to read minds, so to speak.

The findings did indicate, however, that increased exposure to humans (as in the case of domestic dogs) improves a dog's ability to sense attentiveness.

So.. watch how much you think about cats!

Lost Dog Finally Found... 1,300 Miles From Home

And where have you been??

We know what you're thinking, and no. This isn't the story of Sassy, Chance, and Shadow. This actually happened to a pooch named Buster.

After six months Buster's owner, Samantha Squires, had given up hope of ever seeing her doggy best friend, when she received a letter in the post from an animal shelter.

A member of the public had found the intrepid pooch wondering the streets and taken him to the shelter where staff scanned for a microchip.

Late in the afternoon on May 31, a tearful Samantha Squires rang the centre to say that she was his owner.

Buster and Mrs Squires were reunited after he was flown back from San Francisco to Denver.

Much like the family in Homeward Bound Buster's owner will never know what happened to him on his cross country adventure.

Blindfolded Dolphin Can Imitate Other Dolphins

Remember the old phrase "monkey see, monkey do"?

Here's a new one. "Dolphin don't see, but can do it anyway!

A blindfolded dolphin is able to complete the same tasks or imitate the same movements of another dolphin, even though it can't see.

Researchers think the animal could be using echo location techniques or maybe can recognize the specific sound associated with an action.

Either way, it demonstrates a very high capacity to think.
