Beck And Jack White Birth A Bluesy Baby!

And he's in a not-so-nice mood!

Beck has traded his two turntables for some country-inspired musical stylings in his new Jack White produced track, I Just Started Hating Some People Today.

The one off single was released Monday via Black's Nashville based record company Third Man Records, along with a new B-Side titled Blue Randy.

But no news as to whether the tune will be included on Beck's elusive follow-up album to 2008's Modern Guilt.

What you workin' on Beck?! We hope it's not ALL twangy, bluesy material; while we adore Jack White's Blunderbuss, we've always favored Beck's more uplifting tunes…

Surprise! Jack White Performs In SXSW Parking Lot!

And it was AWESOME!!!!

This afternoon, Jack White rolled up to SXSW in a yellow-and-black truck … aka the Third Man Records Rolling Record Store! The truck functions as part record store, part recording studio and is completely rad!

To get things rolling for his new label's first showing at SXSW, Jack pulled out his ax and performed right there in the parking lot! That's just how he do!

Check out the video (above) to hear Jack rock out to a Buddy Holly classic AND the White Stripes jam, "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground."

Jack White Vs. Ebay Users

jack white lashes out against ebay flippers

Jack White is NOT happy with eBay users who are putting up copies of limited-edition vinyl releases from his label, Third Man Records.

As his way of saying F-U to these eBayers, White has started to sell the records on eBay himself to the highest bidder.

Here's what he had to say about it on a fan message board:

"We sell a Wanda Jackson split record for 10 bucks, the eBay flipper turns around and sells it for $300. If $300 is what it’s worth, then why doesn’t Third Man Records sell it for $300? If we sell them for more, the artist gets more, the flipper gets nothing. We’re not in the business of making flippers a living. We’re in the business of giving fans what they want.”

More from White:

"Don't be spoiled, don't insult people who are trying to give you what you want … Seriously stop all of the whining, because what you communicate to us is that all of the trouble we go to isn't worth it because nothing we do will make you happy."

The man certainly has a point, but then again, if EVERYBODY who ever released a record had the same mindset as Jack White, then eBay would be the source of more drama than a High School cafeteria!

If we were to uncharacteristically make a team-based analogy, whose side would U be on? Team Jack White or Team Ebay Users?

Conan O'Brien On Vinyl! Releases Spoken-Word Song

Since he has been on a bit of a hiatus in life, due to his tour being over and his new show on TBS not coming out till the fall, Conan O'Brien decided to do something completely different: a record.

Now, the full-length album won't be released until the end of August, but for now, you can go to the Third Man Records website to get a copy of Conan's "improvised spoken word performance" called And They Call Me Mad.

The record is the first of hopefully many albums in a series of "spoken word/instructional records" released by Third Man, which is run by White Stripes frontman, Jack White. Actually, the B side to the single is an interview Jack did with Conan, so that should be pretty cool too!

The single was taped during a performance by Conan at the Third Man headquarters in Nashville back in June.

And yes, it is available on vinyl! Dust off the record player your parents handed down to you from their closet!

Any of U going to buy Conan's first record???
