Larry King's Tour Off To A Shaky Start, TWO Shows Canceled Already!

larry king first tour date canceled

Back in February, we were impressed to hear that Larry King was going on tour with his one-man show Larry King: Stand Up at 77 years old!

We're kind of bummed to report that if you to Ticketmaster.com, you'll see that TWO of Larry's shows have already been canceled…and his NY show has been rescheduled for NOVEMBER!

Not only that, but if you search tickets for the remaining shows, you'll see that PRIME seats pop up…

Is Larry's tour a BOMB already???

We've had our ups and downs with the guy recently, but we were kind of inspired to see how he was keeping active and continuing to expand his horizons at 77. Would be pretty sad to us if this tour is doomed before it even begins…

Do U think Larry's tour is a bomb? Or is everything going to be all right for the King?

So, What If Charlie Sheen's Torpedo Of Truth Fails To Launch?

charlie-sheen-tour-canceled.jpg

It's a good question, don't you think? Someone as unstable as this guy has about a 50/50 chance of actually showing up to all these shows on his "tour"… so what is his backup plan?

Nothing you ticket holders are going to like to hear, unfortunately.

If you've got your ticket handy, turn that shiz over and read the fine print. To summarize, if Charlie Sheen decides to back out of his scheduled tour, you're not going to get a refund…unless the show isn't re-scheduled within a year.

So, imagine you're going to his Detroit show tomorrow and Charlie doesn't show up. You're not going to get your money back for a year since he has that long to try again.

Bet if you ask him, those are the trolls rules though, not his, so don't blame him if he flakes and you don't get your $$$.

Whomp, whomp!

Canada LOVES Adele!

Adele Yay

They love Adele so much that their overwhelming demand to see her in concert has prompted her May 18th concert in Toronto to be moved from a 2,500 person venue to a 20,000 person venue!

The people have spoken and you are officially an international sensation!

Congrats, gurl! You totally deserve all the success you are achieving!

This doesn't come as that much of a surprise though, considering her sophomore album 21 debuted at #1 in Canada as well as many other countries.

Tickets cost $39.50 and $59.50 and go on sale on Saturday at Ticketmaster by phone at 1-855-985-5000.

To all our Canadian peeps, whose going to see Adele on May 18th?!

If We Said Britney Ticket Prices Are Absurd, Would You Hold It Against Us?

britney ticket prices are absurd

Better start saving up if you want to see Brit Brit live, because tickets prices are EXPENSIVE!

Ticketmaster has posted prices for Britney's tour, and they're seriously ABSURD!

Prices range from $96 to $346.50…and that's BEFORE additional fees!!!!

You heard right!!! $96 for the CHEAP seats!!!!!

WTF? Don't they actually WANT people to go see Britney perform?

These ticket prices are CRAZY! We feel awful for all the hardcore Brit Brit fans out there!

It really concerns us that they'd charge SO MUCH for these tickets. We are NOT impressed.

Will U still see Britney in concert? Or do U think these tickets are too ridiculous pricey?

What's New With Multi-Platinum Artist Scott Stapp Of Creed?

Creed Show 2 For 1

Well, if you said "playing a show in Detroit" you'd be right.

If you said "playing a show in Detroit where tickets are 2 for 1" you'd be even more right.

What happened, Creed?? Scott??

We haven't heard much from you guys since your music stopped that wolf attack for someone.

Maybe this isn't a bad thing!

Who knows, maybe this show is just an incredible deal AND Scott will get up there and blow your minds!

Let's hope!

Will U be seeing Scott in Detroit?

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Cancels hitRECord Fall Formal

joseph gordon levitt cancels hitrecord event after death in family

Joseph Gordon-Levitt had created an event that looked unique and potentially awesome for his fans.

Understandably, after JGL's recent tragedy in his family, he's chosen to cancel the event.

Here's a statement JGL posted on hitrecord.org:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have some regrettable news regarding the FALL FORMAL. As you might know, these past two weeks have been the worst of my life. To those contributing tribute RECords re: my brother dan, you have my deepest gratitude.

I’m eager to get back to work, but I also feel like I’ve just had an arm chopped off and so I’m finding myself less than capable these days.

I’ve considered various possibilities on how to make the show happen another way – the Town Hall Theater has been so accommodating in figuring this out with us. But in the end, I just don’t feel up to it right now and have decided to cancel the show.

If it’s any consolation, we hitRECorders can take heart in knowing that our production was on-track to selling all 1500 tickets – a victory in itself well worthy of ice cream.

Chin up, there’s still much to do and a bright future ahead.
Thanks again…
<3 J

PS. Ticketmaster will send an automatic notice to email and phone purchasers. A notification message that their creditcard accounts will be credited with a full refund. It takes about, 48 hours to show up on most credit-card statements. You can call ticketmaster at 800-982-2787 for more information.

It's an unfortunate situation, but we think you handled it well, JGL. You were upfront and honest with your fans, and you've promised them all full refunds. What else could you do?

Stay strong, JGL! Our thoughts are with you and your family during this rough time.

Buh-Bye, Barry Diller!

nwenn5541150.jpg

It was announced this morning that long time chairman of Live Nation, Barry Diller, has told the members of the board his plans to resign.

Many people this decision has come about due to the clash between Barry and his other board members over creative musical control, but in his statement announcing his plans, Barry makes no mention of that. His statement reads:

“I have always said, since the merger of Ticketmaster and Live Nation, that I only planned to stay as chairman through the transition and integration of the two companies. It’s been almost a year and I informed the board today that while there was no rush, the board should start the process now to appoint a new chairman.”

When exactly this will all happen no one quite knows yet, but we do know Barry isn't going too far. He intends to stay on the board, but just not in the chairman position.

Stepping down isn't as effective as stepping away. What's the point if you're not going to go off and do something else? You've probably got enough money for an early retirement! Go, relax! Shuffleboard it up somewhere!
