Why? Because his name was on her show.

Louis was credited as an executive producer on the Amazon original One Mississippi, something that has changed since his exposé and subsequent apology.

"I found out right after we sold the show, that this was happening, and I started publicly trying to distance myself from him for almost two years now."

She also reveals how she found out, what the news breaking has meant to her, and whether the sexual harassment storyline on One Mississippi was directly aimed at Louis.

In 2012, the now deceased Gawker ran a blind item where a famed male comedian was accused of cornering female peers and masturbating in front of them. Three years later, Kirkman recorded a podcast where she brought up the alleged inappropriate behavior of an unnamed male jokester.

Tig Notaro Calls Out Louis C.K. For Not Responding To His Many Sexual Misconduct Allegations

no title

Why is Tig Notaro always being asked about Louis C.K.?

Well, first off, because he's an executive producer on her critically acclaimed Amazon show One Mississippi, which is about to premiere its second season on September 8. At least, he's credited as an executive producer.

Tig says the Louie writer and star has "never been involved" in the show but still managed to get the credit somehow. She told The Daily Beast:

"It's frustrating, because he has nothing to do with the show. But I don't waste my time on him or what anyone thinks. His name is on it. But we are writing the show, the writers' room. We're sitting in editing. We're acting. We're on set. We're doing press. And everyone that's directly involved in the show works very hard. They are decent, talented human beings. And I feel lucky to be surrounded by them."

Wait, what was that "decent" part? Is she implying Louis isn't decent?

We don't know the full story of the falling out between the former friends, just that there was an "incident" and according to Tig they "don't talk since then."

But rumors have swirled around C.K. over the past couple years, specifically that he lures

Comedy aficionados might have found one of Saturday Night Live's sketches last weekend standing out in their minds — and sadly not because of hilarity.

The sketch in question, in which Louis C.K. plays a grown man who hires a children's birthday clown, bears striking similarity to a short film made by comedian Tig Notaro, leading many to call out plagiarism.

Louis and Tig used to work together; he's an exec producer on her Amazon show One Mississippi. But according to Notaro, that isn't the only connection between the two clips.

Patton Oswalt Gives A Shoutout To His Daughter & Late Wife While Accepting The Emmy For Outstanding Writing For A Variety Special

Filed under: TV NewsR.I.P.Love LineEmmysFamilyCeleb KidzHeartwarming

Patton Oswalt just made us tear up.

On Sunday, the comedian received the Emmy for Outstanding Writing For A Variety Special, for his Netflix standup special Patton Oswalt: Talking For Clapping.

The 47-year-old beat out Amy Schumer, John Mulaney, Tig Notaro, and the comedians behind Triumph's Election Special 2016.

In fact, the funny man genuinely didn't think he had a shot at taking home the trophy, admitting:

"I didn't prepare a speech. I didn't think I was going to win."

But, even though his speech was off-the-cuff, the United States of Tara alum melted our hearts when he gave the sweetest shoutout to his 7-year-old little girl and his late wife, Michelle McNamara, who suddenly passed away earlier this year:

"I want to thank two people, my daughter, Alice, who is waiting at home, and the other, who is waiting somewhere else."

Watch the tender moment (above).
