Karl Lagerfeld sure is getting grumpy in his old age!
During a press conference on Friday the designer took a moment to slam Newsweek editor Tina Brown after reporter asked what he thought about Robin Givhan calling him "overrated" in the February 6th issue.
Unkle Karl said:
"First of all, Tina Brown’s magazine is not doing well at all. She is dying. I’m sorry for Tina Brown, who was such a success at Vanity Fair, to go down with a shitty little paper like this. I’m sorry."
Tina was quick to respond to Karl's quip, tweeting:
"The Kaiser doth protest too much! "Diet issue"? Newsweek ads up 27% for Q1"
For some reason we have a feeling this squabble is far from over.

According to high-powered editor and former personal friend of Princess Diana, Tina Brown, Buckingham Place has "cleared its diary" to announce the engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton in early June.
"A high-placed source in royal circles tells me that two days in June have been mysteriously blocked out on the palace diaries - June 3 and 4," Brown wrote.
It's about time!
"If so, a wedding itself would probably follow in November, like the wedding of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, who married at Westminster Abbey that cold, damp November day in 1947," she continued.
Kate and William have been dating since they met at St Andrews University seven years ago! And he turns 28 this year, which he once said was the age he would get married.
Congrats, you two!
