Vitamin D is probably the most important vitamin you need daily. Because it is hard to obtain the adequate amounts of the vitamin in food, (the recommended daily allowance is around 600 IU) many people are deficient in it. While oily fish, egg yolks, fortified cereal, orange juice and milk are your best choices to find it, you may want to investigate in a multi-vitamin or a Vitamin D supplement, but please be sure to check with your doctor first.

1. Work at 85% of your max heart rate. Intensity is key for burning calories.
2. Train in the most functional way by using body weights and free weights, because you'll engage more muscle groups, which will burn more calories.
3. Work in high-intensity cardio intervals into whatever circuits you do.
4. Find something you love to do, and do more of it!

We're all about fitness, but it's only appealing when you love what you're doing! Otherwise, it's super easy to skip and not care about!!

St. Patrick's Day is going to be bruuuutal this year, as it totally lands on a Sunday!

While this is good for getting your celebration on early, it's not so good for those of us who have to come into work on Monday! Don't worry, though, we've got Dr. Yael Varnado here with tips to keep you feeling great — and make sure you don't call out from work because of your poor decisions! LOLz!

Just follow this plan:

BEFORE:

· Plan ahead: This means hydrating before heading out and being sure you are hitting the parades and parties on a full stomach!
· Know how you’re getting home before you leave the house – have a plan that is safe and secure that you won’t have to think about while out celebrating.
· Prepare for your arrival home and the morning after: eye cream and bottled water in fridge, alarm clock set for Monday!
· Avoid any green body glitter, hair color or anything else that will impress at a parade but not in an office!
