She's been on five seasons, nominated for two Emmys, and even won two Mirror Ball trophies, but now, Julianne Hough will OFFICIALLY be bringing her talents to the judging panel over at Dancing with the Stars!
The unfortunate Boston Marathon tragedy has left 176 wounded and 3 dead, and while Dancing with the Stars aired on the night of the horrific disaster, the dancers, celebrities and judges dedicated episode 5 to the event.
Before the dancers began doing their thing, host Tom Bergeron said:
Tom Bergeron is a long time friend and has been cohosts with Brooke Burke for a long time. They know each other well, and Tom seems like a genuinely wonderful person.
We are not surprised to hear (above) on The Talk that he was one of the first people to know that Brooke has thyroid cancer before she publicly revealed it today. He has known for a few months.
It's heartbreaking but uplifting to hear him talk about his love for her, and his positivity on the subject. His family has dealt with thyroid cancer before, apparently, so he knows that it's one of the most treatable forms you can get.
We'd rather her not have cancer at all, but if she has to have it, this is one of the kinds we're glad she has.
She is so strong and so beautiful — we know she'll pull through just fine.
