Penn State Loses First Game After Joe Paterno Firing.

The Penn State football team played against Nebraska yesterday afternoon - the first game since legendary coach Joe Paterno was fired when it was revealed that he was aware of the HOriffic sexual abuse dozens of children were subject to under former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky and didn't do anything - and although both teams huddled together in a moment of silence for the victims before playing, and an emotional crowd sang the school song, they ultimately lost 14-17.

New coach Tom Bradley was quoted saying at the game's end:

"It was an unprecedented situation in the history of college football."

Well, it certainly was.

We wish we could be more sympathetic, but as of now all of ours - along with our prayers - are going to all the young people who's lives were changed forever by not only the vile actions of a predator, but by everyone who stood by and said nothing while it was going on.

Witness To Molestation STILL Allowed To Coach Penn State

Mike McQueary

Talk about being hypocritical!

After firing head football coach Joe Paterno for not informing the proper authorities when he learned that Jerry Sandusky sexually abused young boys, Penn State is allowing the man who WITNESSED the disgusting act (who also did not report the incident to proper authorities) to remain a coach!

Say what!?

The new Penn State head coach Tom Bradley told sources that "Mike McQueary will be coaching on Saturday" when the team takes on Nebraska at home.

Mr. McQueary, if you haven't heard, SAW a young boy getting molested by Jerry Sandusky with his OWN EYES in the showers at the University's football facility in 2002.

Mr. McQueary saw this, yet did not feel it was necessary to intervene or call the police when a young, defenseless boy was being abused.

While Joe Paterno and other PSU officials are getting punished for turning a blind eye, Mr. McQueary is still allowed to represent the school on the football field?

This whole thing stinks to high heaven and we are completely dumbfounded by the manner in which the school is handling the scandal.

Granted the Nittany Lions are in the middle of the season, we think it's time to clean house and hire some new coaches who aren't associated with the molestation of innocent children.
