Whitney Houston's Grave Finally Gets Headstone

With the recent deaths of James Gandolfini and Corey Monteith leaving all of us shocked, it's hard to believe that we're already well passed the year anniversary of Whitney Houston's passing.

Even harder to fathom is that it was only last week that the late singer received a tombstone. However, it was worth the wait.

The heart shaped headstone is now etched forever with the timeless Dolly Parton lyrics that helped make Whitney one for the ages: "I will always love you." Also written on the tombstone is her frequently used nickname, "THE VOICE."

A fitting tribute for someone who always had a lovely voice.

Whitney's gravesite is located in Westfield, New Jersey, and she is buried next to her father according to her wishes.

We miss you, Whitney, and just like your headstone says, we will always love you.

The Mummy/Glory Screenwriter Kevin Jarre Passes Away

screenwriter kevin jarre passes away

Hollywood has lost a very talented screenwriter WAY before his time.

Screenwriter Kevin Jarre has passed away at 56-years-old from unexpected heart failure.

Jarre's screenwriting credits include Tombstone and Glory. He was also a co-writer/executive producer on Stephen Sommers' The Mummy.

Kevin Jarre's adoptive father was legendary Lawrence of Arabia/Ghost composer Maurice Jarre, who passed away two years ago.

Our thoughts go out to Jarre's family, friends, and peers during this very difficult time.

To this day, Glory is still shown in history classrooms. Kevin's work will be remembered.
