The scandal that may have forced legendary journalist Dan Rather to step down is being made into a movie, and it looks pretty intense.

He's joined by Cate Blanchett, who plays producer Mary Mapes. The two — along with a newsroom team of Topher Grace and Elisabeth Moss — celebrate breaking the investigative story, until the media calls into question the legitimacy of the memos they referenced and the evidence they collected.
The film follows the resulting witch hunt as the reporters struggle to stand their ground, though their reputations are crumbling.
One of the most incredible parts about this movie is that Robert's casting got two thumbs up from Dan! The former 60 Minutes newsman also choked up while viewing a screening at the Toronto Film Festival.
If that doesn't intrigue you enough to watch the trailer, we don't know what will! Ch-ch-check it out (below)!
