Not only did Carrie Underwood donate a whopping million dollars to her home state of Oklahoma after a devastating tornado tore through the area, she also performed a tribute song for all those affected!!
This country beauty took the stage at the CMT Music Awards last night in Nashville and totally ROCKED the performance of her song, See You Again.
In fact, the performance was just as touching as her new music video for the single!!!
The Oklahoma native has done everything she can to help the victims of the tornado that mainly ripped through Moore, Oklahoma. Now her help is extending to the furry victims, too!
The singer has dispatched veterinarians associated with the MuttNation Foundation, which Lambert started in 2009, to the town of Moore where they will set up shop to help injured dogs and cats in the area.
The temporary shelters were set up on Wednesday, and Lambert is very happy to do her part.
Carrie Underwood may have been Blown Away by a tornado made from special effects in the music video for her smash song of the same name, but when it comes to the real life consequences of such a devastating force a nature, she's wasted no time jumping right into action!
In the wake of the lost lives and mass destruction at the hands of the tornados that ravaged Oklahoma, the country superstar has followed in the footsteps of Kevin Durant, Blake Shelton and countless other heroes by donating $100 MILLION to the American Red Cross for relief efforts in her native state!
Amongst all this tragedy, we're always happy to report good news.
And Blake Shelton is trying hard to make good news happen after his home state of Oklahoma was devastated by a tornado.
After already encouraging Red Cross donations by performing a special song with his wife, Miranda Lambert, for the tornado victims on The Voice, Blake isn't done yet because he wants to bring some major relief to those suffering most.
He is teaming up with NBC to put on a relief concert that is hopefully happening next week!
All the details are being worked out so that it can
