Woman Tries To Ward Away Tornado Through Prayer!

Given the fact that 36 people have been confirmed dead due to this recent wave of tornadoes, we'd say it'd be worth trying ANYTHING to fight against these storms!

Check out the video (above) of a woman near West Liberty, Kentucky trying to ward away a tornado through prayer.

According to CNN, the praying woman and her friend who shot the footage both survived the storm.

We're very glad to hear that these two are all right!

Our thoughts are with everyone who have been affected by these horrendous tornados.

Miracle Tornado Baby Tragically Dies

tornado-baby-angel-babcock-dies.jpg

We are so saddened by this.

Angel Babcock, the tornado "miracle baby" who was found alive in a Salem, Indiana field after being thrown 10 miles away from her home when a tornado blew through the area and destroyed her home, has tragically died.

The entire family of the 15-month-girl were also killed in the tornado.

On Friday, Angel was found alive by a neighbor, next to the bodes of her family members. A helicopter was called in and took her to the hospital where she was placed in critical condition.

After two days on life support, her grandmother, Kathy Babcock, had to make the terrible decision to take her off life support. Angel died on Sunday.

Kathy described Angel's last moments

Charlie Sheen donation

Charlie Sheen, who we once thought was legitimately out of his mind, is actually crazy nice!

The actor recently donated $25,000 to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a town ravaged by a tornado last year.

He visited the town in 2011 after a college student kindly asked him for his support on Twitter and

Q & A: Dog Lost During Tornado

Filed under: Sad SadQ&ADogDr. Patrick Mahaney

dr-patrick-answers.jpg

TeddyHilton.com reader, Heather, wrote into to Dr. Patrick Mahaney with a request for help:

This is going to sound crazy, and I'm okay with that. I'm helping to try to find Hanah a lost dog from the Joplin tornado. She was literally sucked out of the bathtub she was riding out the storm with her family in. They're crazy trying to find her.

In this quest we have found out some crazy shit, that seems to be leading to some sort of strange dog theft ring.

I'm reaching out in hopes as a Teddy's Father your curiosity will be peaked. We NEED help to dig into this, and you're a sleuth. We would appreciate some support here.

Hanah's page: HERE.

Dr. Patrick responded:

Heather,

I am sorry to hear about Hanah's tragic loss. How awful it must be to have to endure a natural disaster and the loss of a pet simultaneously.

Does Hanah have a microchip? Even if her collar was removed during the emergency situation, a microchip will help to facilitate her return home if she is brought to a shelter or veterinary hospital.

I see you already have a posting for Hanah on PetFinder.com's "Lost Pet's" section and on Craig's List. Smart thinking!

Besides the Bring Hanah Home Facebook Page, have you used any other social media, like Twitter? Signing up for a new Twitter handle (like @HanahDogJoplin, @HanahDogMO, @HanahLostDog, other) and frequently tweeting about her will get her even more widely seen on-line. A hashtag like #BringHanahHome can be followed as a column for those searching for or who may have found Hanah. A daily tweet can keep the twittersphere abuzz about the ongoing efforts to find Hanah.

Good luck! I hope you and Hanah are reunited soon.

Elephants Lend A Helping Trunk To Tornado Victims

Someone deserves a peanut!

Elephants from the Piccadilly Circus got in their community service hours in Joplin Missouri over the weekend weekend.

The city has be devastated by tornados and the circus discovered had nowhere to preform.

Instead of moving on to the next town the elephants decided (we assume it was the generous elephant's decision) to help helped residents clear some of the tornado debris.

What do you think about this animal aid? Is helpful to the people or cruel to the animals?

Alabama Sports Stadium Withstands Tornado

Tuscaloosa Tornado (4/26/2011) by sportsxbrooks

OMG this is EPIC!

And scary!

A massive tornado stormed right by the Bryant-Denny Stadium in Alabama earlier this week. Somehow the stadium didn’t suffer any real damage.

Sadly, the death toll in Alabama is up to 128, and in Mississippi it’s 32.

We hope this string of storms ends soon!
