Trace Adkins' Wife Files For Divorce — Can This Year Get Any Worse For The County Singer?

What a sad day it must be for Trace Adkins.

As the year progresses, things just aren't getting easier for the country star!

After spending some time in rehab for drinking and getting into an altercation on a cruise ship this past January, Trace's wife, Rhonda is filing for divorce.

On Tuesday, Rhonda walked on down to the courthouse in Williamson county and filed for divorce from her husband of 16 years. She cited "irreconcilable differences" and is asking for primary custody of their three children, child support, alimony and legal fees.

What upsetting news this must be for Trace.

We wish he and Rhonda the best. Divorce isn't the greatest thing to go through, but hopefully it won't be an insane battle between the two!

Trace Adkins In REHAB After Bar Brawl With Himself An Impersonator On A Cruise Ship?!

What is going on here?!

Country singer Trace Adkins reportedly fought an man who was impersonating the singer aboard a cruise ship.

That sounds insane!

Before the altercation, Trace had been sober for about 12 years and, for some reason, the country singer was inebriated when this all went down.

So, the Ladies Love Country Boys singer apparently checked himself into rehab as soon as the ship docked in Jamaica.

Kudos to Trace for realizing what he did and getting the help he needs!

Hopefully this will be the last time Trace falls off the ship!

Trace Adkins' Tiny Daughter Saved Her Dogs From A Fire

Totes Deserved!

When a fire took the home of country music star Trace Adkins his family lost almost everything.

As it turns out, the singers 9-year old daughter, Brianna, was out of the house when she realized the family puppies were still inside. After getting a neighbor to help her, the girl was able to go back into the house to save the dogs.

PETA has awarded Brianna with the PETA Compassionate Award, giving her both a certificate and some vegan cookies!

Puppies and cookies? That little girl has totally got it made!

Trace Adkins' Tiny Daughter Saved Her Dogs From A Fire

So Brave!

When a fire ripped through country star Trace Adkins's family home in Brentwood, Tenn., in early June, the singer's family – which includes girls MacKenzie, 13, Brianna, 9 and Trinity, 6, – lost everything.

But thanks to the bravery of daughter Brianna, their two dogs survived the blaze, which was caused by a faulty power strip beneath Adkins's workbench.

When the fire started Adkins and his wife were not home, but the nanny and their daughters escaped quickly, but Bri had to go back for her dogs.

"A neighbor tried to stop her. But she wouldn't be stopped. They're her puppies. [Brianna] has severe allergies and this is one of the only breeds that she can have."

Adkins explained, adding that he is so proud of his little hero.

The fire destroyed most of the family's home, but doesn't bother Trace. He feels lucky to still have his family and his home.

"We're good. We're fortunate. We don't have any room to put stuff – but we don't have stuff anymore!"

So terrible!

Country star and winner of Celebrity Apprentice Trace Adkins lost his Brentwood home in a brutal fire on Saturday. According to fire officials, the house was a "total loss."

Trace's wife Rhonda was out running errands while their three daughters and dog were home with their nanny. Thankfully, all of them escaped the fire unharmed.

Trace was on his way to Alaska for a concert and didn't learn of the tragic event until hours later.

All of his gold albums and other country music awards and memorabilia were stored in the basement of the house and were not touched by the fire. They did, however, have some water damage.

When asked about the loss of the home, Rhonda replied, "It's just stuff."

So true. And what a positive outlook to have on the whole situation. We're just so happy that nobody was harmed in the fire.
