Jesse Eisenberg knows a thing or two about exotic birds, having voiced a macaw in the smash hit, Rio.
In the animated film, Rio and his friends have to deal with illegal trafficking of exotic birds and the destruction of wildlife and the habitation.
Jesse wants to urge potential owners to be cautious when deciding to buy a exotic bird.
The actor says the following:
If an animal’s natural home is in the wild, then chances are, that’s where it belongs. Unfortunately, the demand for these intelligent, complex creatures – whether captive-bred or wild caught – is decimating the wild parrot species.
Watch (above) as Jesse preaches the importance of letting wild birds be wild.

Wonder if she had the same sentiments when Demi Moore was playing her!
Gloria Steinam is speaking out about appearing in the Linda Lovelace biopic, Lovelace, as played by Sarah Jessica Parker, and the feminist theorist reveals that although she and the actress have chatted in person and over the phone, she doesn't care how she's portrayed - so long as the film's message gets across!

So much for better luck in 2011!
A man who was wanted by authorities on several drug trafficking and weapons charges was apprehended earlier in the week at an Ohio Chuck E. Cheese!
Deputies, working with U.S. marshals, discovered Kippy Hall in the bathroom of the children's restaurant, and he is now being held in the Clark County Jail!
Well, at least no one was shot or abducted this time!
Maybe their luck is turning around!

Tis the season to be jolly!
Rapper and all around mogul Jay-Z is giving his cousin, a convicted drug trafficker, a second chance and offering the recently released inmate a job at his Roc Apparel Group.
Jay-Z has written a letter to a federal judge on behalf of Emory Jones, who he actually "worked" for before his rap career took off, reading:
"I believe his attributes - including intelligence, interpersonal skills and solid work ethic - will be a significant asset for my organization… he is an honest and reliable individual; it would be a privilege to offer him an opportunity."
The letter was included in a sentence reduction plea for Jones, who pleaded guilty to a cocaine trafficking charge in January 2000.
Jay referred to his relationship with Jones in a 2006 song called "Do U Wanna Ride", which features lots of references to his locked up pal and what they'll do when he gets out.
Sounds like Jay-Z was planning this job offer for some time.
Good luck with the new job, Emory!
