Filmmaker Jonathan Bucari is making a movie using the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings as a backdrop- and he's filming it on the outskirts of Newtown!

We understand that school shootings are fresh on everyone's mind, and that someone might be inspired to tell a personal story.

But you know whose mind it's still super fresh on? And raw? And tender? The people of Newtown. Rudy Marconi, First Selectman of neighboring Ridgefield, says:

HORRIFYING High School Tug Of War Ends In Severed Fingers!

Two California high school students ended up in the hospital after what was supposed to be a friendly game of Tug of War!

Spirit Week turned tragic when somehow the South El Monte High School event caused the students to lose their spirit fingers!

Surgeons tried to reattach the severed body parts to the unfortunate young athletes.

Brazil Nightclub Fire: Four Arrested In Connection With Deadly Blaze

This is just so sad.

As the world mourns for 231 poor souls killed in Brazil on Sunday, local police just arrested four suspects in connection with the deadly fire.

Two nightclub owners, a member of Gurizada Fandangueira, and the band's security chief are all now in custody.

Horrific Nightclub Fire In Brazil Takes The Lives Of 245 People.

We cannot even begin to express our heartache over this.

The Brazilian city of Santa Maria was home to an unspeakable tragedy last night, when a fire broke out in the Boate Kiss nightclub around 2:00 in the morning and took the lives of at least 245 people, many of whom were college students.

According to reports, the blaze is thought to be related to a pyrotechnics show going on at the time, as the acoustic insulation inside of the building caught first. The majority of people who lost their lives either died from smoke inhalation or were trampled to death trying to escape, as the club is known to hold up to 3,000 people on the weekends and there were no visible exit signs.

The President of Brazil, Dilma Roussef, has left a summit she was attending in Chile to be with the people of Santa Maria, and says in a statement:

Hero Cop Risks Life To Save Woman In Subway!

When an off-duty police officer sees a woman fall off the subway platform just moments before the train comes, he does what no one else will!
