Hundreds Injured, At Least 1 Dead As New Jersey Train Crashes Into Hoboken Station At High Speed

A train accident at Hoboken Station early Thursday morning has left hundreds injured, and details only seem to be getting worse.

According to eyewitness and first responder reports, the New Jersey commuter train ran full speed into the Hoboken terminal and off the tracks at around 8:38 a.m. EST after failing to brake, seriously injuring the engineer as well as passengers.

Unfortunately, the crash caused the station's roof to collapse, potentially injuring other commuters as well.

It's currently unclear whether this was an operator or system error, but officials do not believe this was a deliberate attack of any kind.

While initial reports suggested a "mass casualty response" from EMS, only one fatality has been confirmed as of yet.

ICYMI: Over 200 Musicians — Including Jennifer Hudson, R. Kelly, & Weezer — Defend Pharrell Against 'Dangerous' Blurred Lines Verdict!

no title

Last week, it was reported that Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke clapped back hard at that Blurred Lines lawsuit — appealing the verdict that they committed copyright infringement against Marvin Gaye's Got to Give It Up.

Throughout the drawn out court battle, the singers expressed the sentiment that paying homage to an earlier era and making a song reminiscent of a sound shouldn't fall under copyright infringement.

And it looks like a TON of musicians agree — because 212 artists, composers, and producers have filed a brief with the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in support of the bid by Williams, Thicke, and T.I. to overturn the decision.

Musicians from all corners of the industry have banded together to support the appeal, claiming that the Blurred Lines creators deserve victory on grounds that the court's ruling will set a precedent that will "stifle creativity" and "impede the creative process."

Among those who threw their names in the ring are the members of Train, Linkin Park, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Black Crowes, Fall Out Boy, as well as Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Hall & Oates' John Oates, R. Kelly, Hans Zimmer, Jennifer Hudson, Jean Baptiste, Evan Bogart and Brian Burton (Danger Mouse).

The artist's brief, penned by entertainment attorney Ed McPherson, states:

Adele & Rihanna’s Singles Both Broke Records This Week! You Better Work, Hello!

Can these two ever be stopped?!

Adele and Rihanna have guaranteed their spots in history as pop culture icons, but just in case you worried about their future careers, we're pretty sure they're going to be fine.

That's because Billboard just released the latest numbers for the week ending April 23 and both ladies just broke even more world records with their hit singles!

Related: Did Rihanna Delay ANTI To Make Room For Adele's 25??

For starters, Hello just tied Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway and Celine Dion's A New Day Has Come as the longest reigning female singles atop the Adult Contemporary chart all with 21 weeks.

Work, on the other hand, made an even bigger impact as its eighth week leading the Billboard Hot 100 just tied her with The Beatles for the 2nd most weeks atop the chart — although, both acts are still trailing Mariah Carey's staggering 79 weeks!

Combine that with the news that 25 was the highest-selling album in 2015 with 17.4 million copies, and we'd say Rihanna and Adele have a lot to celebrate.

But the real question is… are U a bigger fan of Work or Hello??

Jamie Dornan Makes A Statement That's 50 Shades Of Creepy! He Admits To Stalking A Woman Off A Train To Get Into Character — So Not Cool!

We love Jamie Dornan, but this is just inappropriate.

In a recent interview, the Fifty Shades of Grey actor admitted to following a woman around in order to get into character for his serial killer character in Netflix's The Fall:

"The first series, I did do a couple of things to try to get inside [his mind]. On the tube, which is our underground system… Can we get arrested for this? Hold on… this is a really bad reveal: I, like, followed a woman off the train one day to see what it felt like to pursue someone like that… It felt kind of exciting, in a really sort of dirty way. I'm sort of not proud of myself. But I do honestly think I learned something from it, because I've obviously never done any of that. It was intriguing and interesting to enter that process of 'what are you following her for?' and 'what are you trying to find out?'"

Yes, that IS a really bad reveal.

While legally stalking someone requires more than one action (following someone twice, etc.), we think that you don't need to actually purposefully follow someone to get into character.

You're a good actor, Jamie. You didn't have to do this.

There are real victims of stalking out there, and to make it seem like a game? Well, that's not cool.
