This is truly terrifying.
Wednesday was a tragic day for Spain and for the world when an express train derailed and burst into flames.
73 were killed on the scene, while at least five more have died in the hospital, according to María Pardo Rios — a spokeswoman for the Galicia regional supreme court.
Officials say the crash injured 175 people, with 95 still in the hospital. 32 adults and 4 children are currently in critical condition. As of Thursday morning, teams are still on-site, expected to find more bodies.

Though there were at least five Americans injured from the crash, officials say there have been no reported U.S. deaths at this time.
Official Luis G. Moreno released the following statement:
