Finally! It's been almost a year since we've heard anything about this movie!

Last October, we were excited to announced that a writer had been hired for an upcoming movie adaptation of The Twilight Zone (above), which is being developed by Warner Bros and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way.

Now, WB is finally moving forward with the project, and they've begun the search for a director!

Thus far, the top candidates include Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuaron, and Michael Bay.

Uh-Oh! Shia LaBeouf Admits To Hooking Up With Megan Fox…While She Was Possibly With David Silver Brian Austin Green!

Filed under: Film FlickersOops!Love LineShia LaBeoufMegan Fox

Oh boy - he is going to incur the wrath of David Silver BIG time!

Shia LaBeouf was apparently trying to do his best John Mayer impersonation during his recent interview with Details Magazine, because he decided to open up about every celebrity with whom he's ever been romantically involved - and that list apparently included Megan Fox, while the two were filming Transformers…and while she was possibly still seeing her now-husband, Brian Austin Green!

The actor explains:

Even Director Michael Bay Says Transformers 2 Was Crap!!

Those are some pretty harsh words for your own movie!

Director Michael Bay slammed his own movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, calling it "crap" and blaming it on the writer's strike.

He admits that "they made some mistakes" while filming and "the real fault is that it ran into a mystical world."

He goes on:

"When I look back at it, that was crap. The writers' strike was coming hard and fast. It was just terrible to do a movie where you've got to have a story in three weeks.

I was prepping a movie for months where I only had 14 pages of some idea of what the movie was. It's a BS way to make a movie, do you know what I'm saying?"

This pretty much mirrors what Shia LaBeouf said when he saw the finished product. He told reporters:

"When I saw the second movie, I wasn't impressed with what we did. There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone."

Yikes!! At least both the director and star agree.

That means expectations will be really high for Transformers 3.

Do U think those expectations will be met??

Michael Bay Admits Failure With Transformers 2, Says He's Done After Part 3

michael bay says transformers 2 was failure and hes done after 3

This is impressive, Michael. Makes us feel MUCH better about the new astronaut Transformers movie.

During an interview, Michael Bay admitted that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen failed in certain ways. Here's what he had to say about it:

"We tried to learn from the second movie. On the second movie we got burned. We had a writers strike, we had to agree on a story in three weeks, and then we knew they were going on strike. It was a f***ed scenario all the way around; it wasn't fair to the writer; it wasn't fair to me; it wasn't fair to anybody. It was still an entertaining movie, but I think we failed on certain aspects. What we did with this movie is I think we have a much better script, and we got back to basics. … It's more serious. I got rid of the dorky comedy; I mean we've got two little characters, that's it, but the dorkiness is not there. Dork-free Transformers. It's much more serious. It's still entertaining; it's big looking."

And here's Michael on the future of the Transformers franchise:

"I think this has gotta be it. I think someone else will take the torch from here. … It's just that I don't think you could do it again with Shia [LaBeouf] and everybody, I think it's time to move on."

All sounds good to us, Michael! We think you're making the right moves.

What do U think of Michael Bay's Transformers comments?
