If you didn't already think child birth was a miracle, maybe this will change your mind!

We guess it's true what they say: giving birth really IS a miracle!!

A 36-year-old Swedish woman recently made history as she became the first person EVER to give birth after having undergoing a womb transplant!

The new mother, who wishes to remain nameless, was told she had no womb at just 15-years-old, making it impossible for her to have kids. However, doctors DID mention the possibility of a transplant, although they made it clear that nothing was guaranteed!

Poop Transplants Are REAL & The First Stool Bank Opens Its Gaping Hole, Uh, Doors In The U.S.A.!

poopbank

You might be thinking after reading that headline, "What the crap? Butt…butt…butt this is gross!"

Make no mistake though! Someone else's poop may save your ass, and, well, the rest of you too! Heck, one day you might just need 150ccs…of a poopsickle?

27-year-old doctoral candidate, Mark Smith, and three colleagues launched OpenBiome, the first human stool bank in the good ole U.S.A., almost a year ago, and their hard work has not gone to waste, even if they deal in it!

Honestly, we are not being feces-tious!

The poop in question has been screened, and is used to treat patients with Clostridium difficile, a gastrointestinal infection that claims the lives of over 14,000 Americans a year.

People who have Clostridium difficile suffer a lack of good bacteria in their colon as it's usually being wiped out due to taking antibiotics. The transplant helps reinstate the healthy bacteria, which then fights the Clostridium difficile.

What a steaming pile…of success!

According to a recent study, these transplants are twice as effective as regular antibiotics, and OpenBiome keeps their preparations frozen, ready to go!

Great work, guys! Now, if you'll excuse us we have to make a trip to the bank! Ew, come on, we mean the REGULAR bank!

Robin Roberts is getting a much deserved break!!

Having just returned to the set of Good Morning America in February after an intense bone-marrow transplant, we're so glad that Robin is off in Hawaii having fun with her family and friends!

There's not a whole lot we can say past that this picture (above) makes us really happy! The strength and courage it took to go through what she went through would completely destroy a lot of people trying to go through it — and there she is, still working, still living, and still loving life!

Such an inspiration!
